regionals

ok so regional track was this last saturday and i have been throwing shot all year. i started off strong then sucked ass for like the whole rest of the season. i figured out my problem and i was just nervous and not throwing like i know how to. these last three meets i have been relaxin, takin a big  breath and just gettin pumped to throw. my best from last year was a throw of 39′11. in regionals i threw 43′5.5 which was enough to get me third place which means im goin to the state meet. im way stoked for this cuz i always wanted to but never thought i would be able to make it in shot. so ive surassed my goal and anything i do in state will just be an added bounus.

new workout

May 8, 2007

i just got my workout from unk and its a beast! im gonna have to really work my ass of this summer. ill be in the weightroom 4 days a week. about an hour and a half each day and i have plyos tuesday and friday and on monday i have an agility circuit and on thursday i have "gameday" which is one hell of a conditioning day. so im pretty much gonna be hard enought to rollerskate on after this.

finally back in the weight room

for the last few weeks i havnt been able to get serious in the weight room and actually didnt get to lift all last week because of my meets that i have every other day. My mood was all jacked up and i just wasnt myself. Thank god i was able to get into there yesterday and had a stellar workout. im feeling 100% better and am ready to lift again today. I love lifting and am very happy that track wont last much longer and i will really be ablt to focus.

Weight

My weights been kinda going up and down the last few weeks for several reasons. The first reason is I just got cleared to begin running and doing more aerobic exercises and this was the reason i lost like eight pounds because i lost a lot of fat. Now that my body is used to it i have been able to put back on about five pounds of muscle that i might have lost that first week. so now i’m ready to start gaining some serious mass!
