Diet: More protein???????
Sunday, July 15th, 2007Well, i have been working so hard these last weeks….. i realized that i finally have overcome the "diet mentality" which i have done since i could remember…. which is the idea of "i’m on a diet; off my diet, etc). Yay!!!!!! Its something women do, for those of you guys that don’t know what i am talking about. Its the guilt that you get for "going off your diet"……. whatever that means. I now eat clean and if i have a treat, i get over it and move on with my clean eating. No more guilt. No more worrying about what i just ate. In fact, the problem these days is whether I am eating enough!
I have buckled down and realize that i am not eating enough protein. For all the liftiing and cardio i do 6 days a week, you would have thought i would weigh 90 pounds. Something is not working…….. and it must be that i’m not getting enough protein bc my eating is great and i don’t eat sweets anymore (another yay!!!) So I packed on the protein yesterday, ate alot more food than i usually do, and this morning I somehow "feel" slimmer. So, i’m trying to go on a cutting diet. Does everyone cheat (besides their given cheat day) while cutting or is everyone super-duper strict and stay on it completely?

and am touching on size 2s. Not my goal, exactly, but it feels good to make that progress.
A personal trainer girlfriend of mine and I are going to a bodybuilding/fitness/model competition in early August. Our first and hope to simply get some new inspiration to push my workouts even more. Should be fun!
