I haven’t been able to been on or get back to anyone today because my monitor died last night. I’ve been using a friends for a few minutes at a time tonight just to check e-mails and try to respond to as many peeps as I could. Ok! I Hit heavier weights every other day, so today is 3 sets of everything at heavier weight. Since I workout at home I don’t have a partner or a spotter..I have to be more careful with weight and form.
Decline bench press 3×10
incline bench press 3×10

I’ve had a lot going on lately and now find it necessary to make some tough decisions in my life. I’ve never done any traveling so I’ve decided to take about 3 weeks and hit the road. I will be visiting my daughter in Iowa for a few days then going to my sister’s in Utah, from there I’m going to visit a good friend in Lakeport, CA that I haven’t seen since 1984! I’m looking forward to the time all to myself.
As for keeping up with my meals and training I’m packing a cooler for the road and will be cooking my own meals when I reach my respective destinations. I’m also taking my selecttech dumbbells and my pole! (OH YEAH!!)
Okay now for today’s workout;
5 min. interval warm-up at 10% incline
leg extensions 2×15, 1×13, 1×12
leg press 2×20, 1×18, 1×16
walking lunges with 25 lb dbs 2×20 1×18, 1×16
seated leg curls 2×20, 1×18, 1×16
lying leg curls 2×20, 1×18, 1×16

hip abd 2×20 1×18,1×16
hip add 2×20, 1×18, 1×16

I was sitting here reading profiles and transformations, and it kind of just struck me that I spend time (not a lot) on the computer and communicate with people from all over. For the most part everyone seems nice enough but then I think…you know that’s kind of absurd in a way because what do I really know of/about these people except what they write or tell me (I realize that works both ways).
What made me think about this was recently a friend of mine was burnt by an online relationship….they met and saw each other for a few months off and on…what happened was the persons lies caught up with him, but only after the feelings were already in full swing with my friend. Needless to say she is totally devastated( and for the record it wasn’t someone on this site). Her situation has made me step back and re-evaluate what these sites are about in the first place and I guess I’m back to being somewhat suspicious.
So what was this all about? Well I am back to my focus on getting this body comp ready if I can, and no more socializing….I guess this was a wake up call for me to not forget what cyberspace is.
