hell ya!

Back day this week I busted out unassisted chinups- reps of 3,3,4,4,3.  My best so far!!!

Soooo, when I started out with my new chinups goal I was a sad case of 1 chinup, and ooooohhh almost another.  I’ve been training with 20# assist on back days and on one non-weight train day doing a few sets with 30# assist (pullups).

Yesterday I busted out 2 sets of 4 chinups unassisted.  The first 3 were cake and I honestly thought I’d make it to 5 or 6, but I’ll take the 4 right now.  I just need to improve each workout now :)

Online Consulting

I’ve expanded my business and have started doing online consulting.  Huge help since I’ve gotten a bunch of inquiries out of state.   I’m trying to work out the kinks with Blue Cross since I am a participating provider- to get them to cover visits for Coast to Coast plan holders.  That’s huge.  Check out my website…I can be contacted via email, phone or website form.

Birthday!!!

Today’s my birthday!  I weighed in down 1.4#, sweet because I’m bout to eat a chocolate bomb, and drink some martini’s and then later go out to dinner with everyone!  I stepped up my workouts a little in anticipation so that I can stay on schedule with my goals :)

Pullups!!!

I’m up 4 more reps with 20# assist from last weeks back day.  I hope to keep a steady climb to sets of 10, drop to 10# assist and then try my real pullups again.  I was able to get 3 sets of 2 real pullups when I started so I’m real anxious to see how I improve.  Keeps me looking forward to going in and pushing myself!

Summer is coming

today was so beautiful, went for a run on the cliff walk as soon as I woke up, and finished the day with a downtown hour power walk with my friend just now.  My day-off lifting didn’t do me in :)

Leg day…

So I started my bodyspace with the intent on getting leaner and stronger.  haha.  I weighed myself today only to discover a rotten 142 staring me in the face. Granted it is a scale I don’t normally use, so I will do a check-in this weekend. 

 so i later went to the gym for leg day and did my thang.  It’s on now 142!

My pullup journey

So slow but sure I am paving the path to pullups.  I am now training with assisted pullups.  I am down to 20# and today managed sets of 6, 4, 4 and then at 30# did 5 more.   They seem slightly (and I mean slightly) easier.  I will do them!

So I don’t know where my post went that I wrote, but I’ll cut to the chase.  2 weeks ago I couldn’t do any pullups.  Last week I got 3 sets of 1 & 3/4.  haha.  Tonight I did 1 set of 2, 2 sets of 1 & 3/4.  I’m up 1/4 =)

Man these things are friggen hard
