New Diet Phase
Friday, March 28th, 2008I’ve picked out the competition. It’s a Figure America Southern California Championships on August 2nd in Hermosa Beach, Ca. There might be teensy problem though . . . it might not include figure that day! I will have to check that tomorrow! I was going to do NPC, but I can’t afford TWO suits! The money thing is stupid, I think. Fitness/Figure America requires only one suit for one round. I also like the way your pose and walk for this organization. AND, if for some terrible reason I can’t shed all the bodyfat needed to enter figure, I can enter the Bikini catagory instead!
Yes, this is going to be good!
I worked out my diet and training program. It includes weight training with heavy weights, increased reps, decreased rest periods, and lots of supersetting; 45 minutes of cardio 6 days a week; and 15-1600 calories a day with 120 grams of protien. No carb tweaking for now, just straight calorie couting (on clean foods, of course) and less calories from fat. I wrote my program while sitting on the plane to New Orleans next to a very obese man. It was very . . . ironic? I felt pretty bad for him, but not so much when he gobbled about 6 packs of cheese crackers. I respect people who take control of their health in those situations and make changes for the better.
Now I just have to buy my shoes to practice posing and walking. I have a old friend from my dance days coming to help me with posing in 3 weeks. I’m excited!
I went to visit my sister in Louisiana. Basically our schedule revolved around what we wanted to eat. It was fun and delicious (I LOVE red beans and rice) and I didn’t even gain any weight, surprisingly. I worked out twice at the LSU student gym. I don’t think the college boys were used to any women stepping into THEIR side of the gym. I got a good workout there, though! It was a good time and a nice break before my diet kicks in. Except now it’s a little hard to not keep eating sugary, salty, bad food. It’s like you get a taste of it and it just drags you in to the depths of evil!
