After Every Storm Comes a Rainbow
Jeez, this was a hard week. I love being in my classroom; I feel like I can do it all when I’m at work, but the minute I leave I fall apart. But today was a fantastic day. And not for any particular reason . . . ok, looking pretty good at the gym and getting some new photos up here might have had something to do with it.
I find that when I don’t have huge expectations for something, I usually have a better time. That was today.
My aunt gave me some really good advice about men . . . they’re like bears
They like to go into their caves and if I just let him have his "cave time" and don’t try to fix it or get mad he’ll be perfectly fine in a little bit. I can’t take it personally. I have to try to remember this!
My girl friend called me to get specific diet info and tips. I’ve been kinda, sorta trying to help her lately, but she hasn’t really taken me seriously until now. I think when she heard that I had helped my boyfriend lose some stubborn pounds by tweaking his diet, she figured maybe I did know what I was talking about. Not that I know everything, but for what her goals are, it feels great to be able to help. The one thing she refuses to do though is to pick up any weight higher than 5 pds! Know matter what I tell her, she’s convinced that her body will be too musclely. I think she’s afraid of looking like me! LOL! She says she like the "frail" look . . . eeww.
I went to the FitExpo yesterday. I totally scored a half/price bottle of SuperPump 250 which I’ve been wanting to try and 3 weeks worth of Cytolean samples! I tried the SuperPump this morning. It was cool, kinda felt like a rush of energy and a "gotta get up and go" mentality, but I think I will try two scoops tomorrow to get me through an entire workout. It tasted awesome, which is a HUGE plus considering that all my protien powders are making me feel like barfing every time I take a sip. I put some protein powder in my oatmeal this morning and totally ruined my breakfast! Disgusting! There must be some kind of protein that is made to mix in with things, but mine is NOT that kind!
The seminar at the expo was good. It was very cool to see these ladies in person to see just how big they really are. I liked their advice about listening to your body and doing a lot of experimentations to find out what works for you. It’s absolutely amazing what these female bodybuilders can accomplish on a female form!
I’m re-inspired and ready to hit the gym hard and the food clean! I wasn’t even tempted by the cookies, cake, and ice-cream at my Grandma’s house today. I thank everyone on this site for posting their stories and inspiring others, and myself, to accomplish their goals!

I use the Ultimate Nutrition whey supreme as a mixer and its fine. I think its best to take a "neutral flavour"like vanilla, but its fine.
