I am so happy !  Cosy delivered a litter of 5 kittens overnight.  I think 3 are males but I cannot be sure cos it is still very hard to tell.  I simply cannot believe my eyes when I saw those beautiful babies!!  And YES I am fussing over mother cat & babies like a brand new grandma!!  The last one born, Storm is tiny compared to his siblings.  And Cosy seemed to reject it cos he was still drenched in body fluids when I saw him and she refused to clean him up.  I had to gently dry him with a small towel and warm his body in my hands as well as putting him among his siblings.  He couldn’t latch on to feed.  I got quite worried and went to the pet shop for milk replacer.  Turns out my instincts were right.  I fed Storm a bit by bottle and then offered him to Cosy.  Only then she took to him, licked him & at one point pulled him towards here with a paw. Gradually I got Storm to latch on and yeah, the 5 kittens are all feeding contently.  I can’t explain this feeling of joy I have seeing these tiny helpless babies.  I guess it reminds me much of how I took care of Cosy & Furry when I picked them up as strays.
