I’m drinking an Orange Fix Endorush and it’s doing a good job of helping me wake up. The host hotel isn’t fancy but it’s definitely the cheapest hotel I will stay in all year. I’m about to feed my bellllay and then head over to the prejudging. I’ll go behind the scenes and provide you footage that will only be available here on Bodybuilding.com. The Fitness starts first, followed by the figure and then the bodybuilding. I’m going to predict we’ll be done at 1:43pm. Let’s see how my swami skills are today. The finals will start with the women at 5pm. It’s supposed to be a nice day here in Boulder, which beats the snowstorms we had a few days ago.

I’m sure I’ll have a few interesting stories from today. Check back this afternoon for the 411.

Tonight was check-in time for the NPC Northern Colorado show. The show totaled 65 competitors, most of which are figure competitors. There are 5 or 6 fitness competitors which is up from the past couple years. IFBB Figure Pro, Bridette Murray was in attendance with her team of girls. Bridgette will be competing later this summer in fitness. I helped with checking the heights of figure competitors and weighed in the bodybuilders. All the competitors received shwag from Axis Labs, Labrada and CytoCharge. IFBB Pro Chaundra Tangi made a brief appearance and will be doing women’s makeup tomorrow. Top NPC bodybuilder, William Owens was on hand to help with judging criteria and will be helping out backstage tomorrow. Branch made an appearance for awhile, talked with fans and said a few hellos. I’ll be roll’n with big Branch tomorrow morning. I heard from Jen Hendershott - she made it to Denver safe and will be in attendance tomorrow night at the show. I ended the evening with a delicious meal at Chili’s, I highly recommend the Margarita Chicken.

Bodybuilding fans are one degree removed from the card crash. IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, Kevin Levrone is in the movie Redline which stars comedian Eddie Griffin. If you haven’t seen the news, this is the latest from a blog:

You’ve seen it, right? The horror of comedian Eddie Griffin nailing a jersey barrier with a one-of-four-hundred Ferrari Enzo? We could be physically sick.

What’s worse, on some video we’ve seen, is how he refuses to break character when explaining to local news crews how he ****ed up one of the rarest, most valuable cars on the planet. “Undercover Brother’s good at karate and all the rest of that, but the Brother can’t drive,” Griffin told reporters, name-checking his 2002 film and making himself look more like an ass simultaneously.

For his $1.5 million accident, Griffin will no doubt get more publicity for his upcoming film Redline, even if he never came close to redlining the Enzo before flinging it into history. He wins no points from the car’s own, though—Daniel Sadek happens to be the producer of his movie.

“I’m glad Eddie came out of the crash okay, but my dream car got destroyed,” Sadek said.

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jenny McCarthy talked about how she lost weight after her baby. During the conversation she mentioned what women want in men or one thing they like… NO MAN BOOBS! She went on to comment, if we wanted boobs in our face while having sex we’d be lesbians. Guys get fit and say no to the man boobs.

I’ve been swamped with work and still in over my head with getting out a few more Arnold videos, more photos and reports. I put competing on hold for awhile as I wasn’t able to devot 100%. No excuses, just not in the cards right now. Still working out and still working to get lean for the summer. I’ll be heading out to Boise for the bb.com Expo and a couple weeks after that I will be in Charleston, SC for the NPC JR USA. This weekend is the Northern Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Branch Warren will be the guest poser and I’ll be providing a report for my LIFT LINE here on bodybuilding.com

Anyone catch the Bravo TV’s show "workout"? I haven’t seen it on tv but caught the main trainer on the TODAY show and checking out the episodes online. It’s a few trainers in Beverly Hills from the studios called Sky Sport. Thus far it seems okay at best but far from riveting. If anyone follows this let me know what ya think.
