This is my Company Commander, he has been on a remote fire base for over a year.  This guy is a physical demon.  Smokes a pack of Marlboro reds a day, works out maybe three times a week, with the little equiptment we have here, and still benches over 300 Lbs, after not working out in over two years.  Strait killer.  This dude wears a mask when ever we raid a enemy home, with demon fangs painted on them.  I really think he is a little crazy, too much war, not enough down time.  But we need guys like that, war junkies who are loyal to one thing…America.  This dude is 6′2" 230Lbs of pure balls…and covered in crazy celtic tatoos.  Airborne Ranger for the past 7 years.  I am not kidding, he truely believes that enemy bullets can’t hit him…stands strait up in fire fights and doesn’t give a damn…God bless him!

Gained 8lbs on R&R! Ran 1hr today at slow pace 5.2mph and killed shoulders. We all are fighting a daily battle to do good vs evil and managing our health is one of those battles. Accomplishing goals is another.

Rv 12:7 War broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. The dragon and its angels fought back, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.

Headed Home

I got a lockdown time! I’m gonna run 5mi in celebration. Letting the Kuwait sun and air absorb into my body and soul to milk out my stress and bring me closer to mortality. I run for speed and strength. I run to feel the pain that Jesus had when his air was taken away on the cross.

Meals:

4egg omellette–loaded –awesome!!–cocoa crispies–you’re favorite

Just had a gatorade before the run.

Kuwait in transit to R&R

Rode to Kuwait from Bagram this morning. Pretty nice ride in a C130. Yeah, we jump outta those. Found out I am not getting the combat pay while I am on R&R. Made sense. Meals:

Breakfast-0630–oatmeal, chicken, 0930–oatmeal, 1000–protein shake, flew at 1300, 1400–protein shake, lost 1 hr in flight, 1730–chicken breast and leg, monster drink and gatorade, 2000–pasta, chicken w/veg, ice cream

Workout–military press w/barbell 5×5 (65,75,85,95,105) 1min rest then lat pulldown (90,100,110,120,130), deadlift 5×5 (135,145,155,165,175) 1 min rest then leg raises (5×25)

 

R&R

Sunday, September 2nd, 2007

Getting ready to go on R&R. Ate broccoli, lean beef and brown rice at 1200, protein shake at 1430. Just had lean pork with chicken, brown rice and corn on the cob for dinner at 1800. These chow halls in Bagram Army Airfield are great. I just watched a couple of people enjoying the ice cream. Not working out today so I can recover. Beginnning new workout this week. Will do:

A1-Standing Mil Press 5X5 resting one minute and then A2 doing lat pulldowns 5X5 followed by

B1-Barbell deadlift 5X5 resting one minute and then B2 hanging leg raises

Road Marching

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Road marched 5mi today with 50lb ruck. Felt great! Did a total body yesterday Deadlifted 275, Benched 265, Squatted 225 Military Press 135, Upright rows 95, barbell curls 65, tri-pushdowns 60

I was told by my XO that I am going to Ranger School when we get back. Time to put the ruck sack on and pray! I ran 5 laps (approx. 5mi) today in 40:54. Anybody been there lately please let me know how week one has changed.

Cutting Up

Everything is going OK so far! I have lost 3-4 lbs in 3 days. The workouts are going great! I have maintained the strength but don’t know how long it will be before the creatine is totally out of my system to gauge the gap.

Took some mandatory poses last night. Looking overall proportional but kinda smooth. So now I am going to commit to losing 10lbs over 3 weeks. Also added 1 hr of cardio before weights every day. This should bring in some fine detai. Only taking Tribulus Terrristis right now.
