I am not big on writing to many blogs but, I have to rant about a comment that was made to me the other night when I was in the gym. So I have been cutting down for the summer and I was talking to one of the trainer about my weight and how I was leaning up really good. Anyway the lady he was training asked about how many calories I was taking in a day and I told her 2300. So then she asked how often I eat something bad and I told that I hadn’t had anything bad to eat in over two weeks and she said how can you be happy, your not living life if you don’t eat bad food. WTF????? Me personally I keep my opinion to myself unless someone asks me. That got me a little tick off to say the least. I mean alot of people in the gym don’t have a freaking clue about dieting and working out. Take this girl for example she has been working out with a trainer now for a year and I don’t see any changes in here but, like I said I keep my opinions to myself. When she is training with him they are always laughing and cutting up. That goes along with my last girlfriend who had the nerve to tell me that people would still love me if I had a little bit more fat on me. Wrong answer you are telling that to the wrong person. Needless to say that didn’t workout just to many different opinions to try to work through. Me I am pretty serious person when I am training, the headphones go on and it business time. Anyway I just needed to rant about that a little. I should have told her opinions are like a$$holes everyones got one and they are all different. I mean when did eating health become such a bad thing??

Chest night and what a great workout. Even after Tuesday night’s workout which I thought was pretty bad I was still sore the next day so I guess there is no such thing as a bad workout. I guess I just have higher standards for myself. Anyway so tonight I did 5 sets of dumbbells incline, 5 sets of flat bench dumbbells, 4 sets on the peck deck, 4 sets wide grip machine press, and ended it with crossover cable supersets.

Well so last night I had one of those workouts that in my opinion just sucked, my energy level just was there no matter what I did. So I will have to chalk that one up as a bad workout, but really is there such a thing as a bad workout? This goes back to a saying do you look at the glass half full or half empty. At least I was there it not like I didn’t go through my whole workout anyway. So occasionally I guess you’ve just got to have an off night which doesn’t happen often at all(thank god). Anyway today is a off day for me which may mean a little cardio or maybe not. Then is back to it on Thursday.

Bulikng is going well. I am up to 178 now. That is about 6 lbs. in 6 weeks. I am happy with that. My energy levels in the gym are through the roof right now with all the carbs that I am taking in. Hopefully I can keep the clean bulking up until July when I will start dieting for my next show on 10/18. Later!

Well I finally decided to start bulking again, been doing it for about two weeks and I am up 4 lbs. so hopefully I can keep it up and get up in the mid to upper 180s before July. My plan is to compete in the fall again and do two competitions the same two I did two years ago. Hopefully all goes well and that can happen. My energy levels in the gym are great right now and my strength it almost completely back to where it was before I hurt my back.

Well that see haven’t updated in a while so here goes. I’ve been working out lessO(2 days on/ 1 day off). I dropped about 7 pounds from right after Thanksgiving to now(just cut back on my calorie intake and uping my cardio. Can’t seem to get my lower back where I want it to be, back its a work in progress. If I wasn’t so stubborn in the beginning and would have went to the chiropractor earlier I probably would be better, but oh well I am just a stubborn person about certain things its in my blood. Anyway other little nagging aches and pains are coming back in my wrists and elbows, but you know the saying no pain no gain so I am still resting more which helps and hopefully one day I can compete again and if not you’ll still be able to find me in the gym training its my second home or my first it depends on who you ask about it. Later!

I am still getting my back better to where I can lift heavy on a regular basis. I actually dropped 7 pounds since the end of Nov. Just decided to dropping my calories down and bumped up my cardio. I still have the itch to do some more competitions, but not until I feel like my back is up to the challenge of a good 12 to 16 weeks contest prep.

Till I start dieting for my next competition. I up to almost 180 so if I can add two or three more pounds by new years I will be happy. Training has been great here lately this is the healthiest I have been all year and I feel great. So hopefully the rest the year I can keep pushing hard and add on some more size because come Jan 1 its diet time.
