Max-OT: Week 2 Recap

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

So I think it’s safe to say Max OT is working pretty well.  As of today, I’m 159 lbs.  I started off 2 weeks ago at 147.  Of course, eating 6-7 meals a day played a role, but my strength has pretty much gone back to where it was when I was last training seriously, and I think that’s because of Max OT.  I probably shouldn’t have waited until today to write an entry because I can’t recall too much from last week.  I’ll make sure not to do that again.

Max OT: Week 1 Recap

Monday, March 17th, 2008

Intense.  That’s the word I’d use to describe it.  After the first day, I was totally drained.  The other days were no different.  Back day in particular wore me out.  I took a nap before the workout, and after the workout, was so drained I had to take another nap.  I’m seeing results though.  Today’s numbers were way better than last weeks.  I hope it keeps going.

As for weight, I’m up to 152, from 147 when I started back.  Something else to be glad about.  Well that’s it.  Looking forward to week 2.

Back in 08

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Hey all.  It’s been ages since I’ve posted.  Well I’ve had a bumpy 6 or so months, but I’m glad to say that I’m finally past it all.  I was working out during that time, but not as seriously as I should.  But now I’m back.

I’ve started doing Max-OT after a friend suggested it and I read up on it.  Today was my first day, and man it is intense.  I’m excited to see what the coming weeks will bring.  I think I’ll post a weekly entry as to my progress.

As of today, I’m about 147.5 lbs.  I hope to be in the 160s by May.  It’s going to be hard, but eating 7 meals a day should make that possible.  I can’t think of anything else to say.  So until next time, take care, and glad to be back.

Haven’t posted in awhile

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

I noticed that I haven’t posted in awhile.  So I thought I would.

Well two more weeks of school left, then maybe I can throw myself into training and eating.

It’s going well.  Althought I’m not going to reach my goal of 170 by the end of may, overall, I’ve made gains and that’s what matters.

I have a personal trainer now actually.  He has a phenominal physique, from top to bottom, and I think having him on my side will be a good benefit to me.  We’re going to meet up this week and probably train together from now until I leave school for the summer.

I’ll be posting progress pics sometime this week to kind of show my journey from September 06 until now.  I hope I can see a difference.

i’m back

Sunday, February 25th, 2007

Hey everyone.  I know I’ve been MIA the past couple of months.  I’ve been trying to get back on track with everything, after my winter break setback.  Well the lep is back now, and looking better than ever.  I’ll put some recent pics up under the progress section.

Anyway, I’m currently around 158-59 and I’m heading for 170.  I’m basically planning to put on at least 5 lbs every 2 weeks.  Of course most of it won’t be muscle, but in time, it will be.  We shall see how much I can pack on before June, when I plan to start cutting down.

I will post my diet and "routine" sometime this week.  Take care and lift hard.

day 4: chest

Saturday, December 9th, 2006

For some reason, I forgot to put up the chest day, which was Thursday.  It was a great workout, although I did 4 sets of everything rather than 5.  But trust me, 4 sets were more than enough.  So I think I’m going to stick with that.

I missed another day unfortunately.  So today, I’m going to do arms, and just do legs monday.  I’ll post day 4: arms sometime later today.  I have a 15 page paper I need to start writing.  Take care all.

day 3: shoulders/abs

Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

hey all.  well today was shoulders and abs, and I’m glad to say that it was an awesome workout.  My shoulders are sore as hell, and the intensity was definitely up there.  I like training shoulders alone and not with another major body part because I can give it my all, and that’s what I did.

day 2: back

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006
Hey all.  Yeah, I didn’t make a post monday.  Well things happened and my plans changed.  I didn’t get to lift monday (which would have been legs), and I’ll have to make it up Saturday.  In any case, today was back day.  It was really intense.  I actually will have to tweak it a bit so that I can make it through it.  There was a bunch of “bloopers” during my workout today, and despite that, I still had a good workout.  Just shows how good the routine actually is.
The metal music did help a little, but I think I have to tune my ears to it.  I actually wasn’t paying much attention to it.  It could have been because I was so worried about this workout going off without a hitch.  Who knows?  In any case, I think that once I get this all in order, I will make some great gains.

starting a new routine tomorrow

Sunday, December 3rd, 2006
Hey everyone.  I hope everyone’s training is going well.  I am happy to say that I’m starting a new routine tomorrow.  It is by far the most intense routine I’ve ever done, which makes it more exciting.  I even got my heavy metal ready.
Its based a lot off of lbdb18’s workouts, but with some tweaks so it’ll fit me more.  I’m always telling him how I’m going to start trying out his routine.  Well that time has come.
I’ll give everyone a feedback on each day as it’s done.  It’s a 5 day split.  So Monday-Friday is lifting, unless something happens and I miss a day.  Then I’ll make it up on saturday.
