I updated my progress pictures today! I have made HUGE progress from where I started on June 3rd, 2008!!! I lost a lot of bodyfat while toning up during my 6-week transformation, then set my sites on gaining 10 pounds of muscle during the following 12 weeks. In the past 4 weeks I have managed to gain a solid 5 pounds of mass while still cutting the bodyfat down. In the next 2 weeks, I’m going to crank it up a notch with my lifting and concentrate more on eating for growth. I want to put on another solid 5 pounds of lean mass! By-the-way, this is only my short-term goal…I will be moving on to BIGGER and BETTER from there on out. Stay tuned for more updates…
P.S. These pictures are not the best in the world…They don’t show the full definition and vascularity. I hope to do a professional photo shoot in the next 2-4 weeks. If there are any experienced or amateur photographers in the area that would be interested in working with me, feel free to contact me so we can set up an interview…!

Well, the Transformation Contest is now over, but my work here is never done! I am extremely impressed with myself! I wanted to lose about 15 pounds, but I ended up actually losing 24 pounds and also increased my lean mass considerably by going from almost 28% bodyfat down to 13%. I did it in ONLY SIX (6) WEEKS! Without the help of the MuscleTech supplements, that would not have been achievable. My girlfriend was so helpful in preparing my meals so that I could eat healthy (lots of chicken, fish, broccoli, and asparagus). I know I made a big positive impact on the people around me at work, and my friends and family. I hope many of you will read this and be inspired and motivated, too! I look forward to all of your comments on the transformation…let me know what you think!!!

I am now four weeks into the transformation, and things are shaping up very well. I have put some muscle on, and the definition is certainly coming through. I’ve got two weeks left to go and I need to ramp it up a little so I can burn more fat off. The worst part is I got shin splints from doing so much cardio and outside running last week. I had to take several days off from the running to recuperate. I changed up the weightlifting though to a type of circuit training to keep my heart rate up and very short rest periods with total-body exercises. The eating right is very hard, but I’ve made it this far, and I don’t have much more to go…

I started the Transformation on June 3rd, so I am now ten days in, and five (5) pounds lighter. I started with only a couple of MuscleTech supplements, and have seen some encouraging effects so far (especially with NaNOX9). I have now received my full MuscleTech package which consists of: NitroTech Hardcore, Hydroxycut Hardcore, Leukic Hardcore, Gakic Hardcore, Creakic Hardcore, NaNOx9 Hardcore, Hydrazide, Anabolic Halo, and NaNO Vapor. I will start this cycle as a 30-day program on Sunday, June 15th, 2008 and go with it until Monday, July 14th, 2008, the last day of the Transformation. I will take some new pics and put them up this week so you can see what progress I have made in only one week. Stay tuned for more of the "Leon Show" and feel free to send your words of encouragement, or constructive criticism, however you see fit…but, please be honest!!!

I began the MuscleTech/BB.com Transformation Contest on June 2nd, 2008. I had taken a week off from the gym because of migraine headaches, and I needed a week of rest anyway after going for about eight (8) weeks straight, five (5) days-a -week. I started getting fat again in just that week…not good! I joined the Transformation Contest about 2 weeks ago, but didn’t actually start the transformation. Now that I’m ready for it, it’s GO TIME!!! Hardcore workouts morning and night, and staying active throughout the day to keep my metabolism going and keep firing on all cylinders is what this transformation will consist of. I only have six (6) weeks to complete the transformation, but I can do it. I won’t let up, and I won’t back down!!!

So, I think I’ve finally kicked the crud (sickness), for the most part anyway. I’ve been back at the gym everyday, except Saturday, which is my "recovery day. I did an hour of cardio today and a half-hour of core training. I’m noticing a difference in the way I look and the way I feel. I love it! I’m gonna hit the gyn tonight for some back training, and tomorrow it’s time for chest, again. I started using BSN’s Atro-Phex last Sunday, and I definitely notice an increase in energy, alertness, and mood. Time will tell if it will help with the weight management. I am almost out of protein and stuff…I better order more today from BodyBuilding.com!!!

So, I’ve taken the last full week off from the gym. Last Friday I got a sore throat, sinus pressure, the whole crud. Saturday is normally a day off for me anyway, so I just went to work and rested. Sunday I had a golf tournament in the morning (I got second place, by-the-way) and then went home to rest because I felt like crap. It’s not like me to take time off from the gym, but I figured it was best to rest a few days so I could back into full swing again soon. I never kicked the cold, sinus infection, allergies, whatever it is, but I went back to the gym on Sunday for Leg Day. Man, I was so weak and undernourished! That was probably one of the worst workouts I’ve ever been through, but I pushed through it for an hour. Afterwards I felt great! I got that incredible feeling of accomplishment and was so glad that I pushed myself to get back in there and back at it again! It helped to clear my sinuses up a little, too! I’m still feeling the pressure and sore throat, but I’ll be back at the gym tonight after work!!! You can bet on that.
