Tuesday was a fantastic day in the gym.  I was full of beans and raring to go.  Blasted through all my sets and wanted to do more…  I ate well that day.  Today, I was in the gym with my training partner and we were both lethargic.  Although we still tried, that drive and determination to get those final, excruciatingly painful reps wasn’t there.  We plodded on and finished our workout.  I was so dissatisfied I even did a little extra work on a few machines.  It was a thoroughly depressing workout.  It wasn’t until I was showering that I realized the error in my ways.  My daily food intake had been much lower than usual, however it wasn’t until that moment that I realized how important eating well is.  Eat bad, train bad.  EAT GREAT, TRAIN LIKE A BEAST!

Last Sunday which is chest day something pissed me off!  Someone stole the bench from us!  We were quite obviously going to put weights on the bar and start pumping the reps out when this middle age guy with a buzz cut throws his training log next to the rig.  We just looked at each other and decided to let it go.  So, we settle for the smith machine, which is nothing in comparison and as I finished my set I look across and the buzzard is lying on the bench, probably thinking where he can scavenge his next meal with only a 2 1/2 kilo plate on each side of the bar!  WHAT THE F*C£!
