Only In America
I remember this saying and how true is it? Arnie came, he saw….and he conquered. The burning question is…do i have what it takes? Will they like me? Is my body ready?
We all need encouragement, but when is a compliment the truth and when is it just a good friend being nice. I truly dream of coming to USA and competing with all my idols. Brant, Medina, Lynn..Just to meet them and stay inspired.
I would love to be able to inspire the way they do. But, only in America does one get that opportunity to promote and meet like minded people. I meet so many fantastic people on this site. The men? wow!!! and the women…inspirational!! Even the beginners inspire me. We all have to start somewhere. The support i have been getting from everyone on this site is definately helping my decision to make a go in USA.
I don’t care if i get stone motherless last..Just to have finally fullfilled my dream, meet my idols and meet all the fantastic friends i have made on bodybuilding.com.
The big burning question is…do you think i am ready?

Are you ready????? Are you serious??? Just look in a mirror dear…..your awesome, your young, your pretty and you are determined….how can you not be ready? GO FOR IT!!!

As I read your blog, I couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous at how far you’ve come, but as I read on I saw a bit of myself in you. To see how far you have come and the amazing shape you’re in and still have doubts in yourself. I guess it goes to show that we all have insecurities regardless as to how far we’ve come. And you’re right, it is difficult to tell whether or not people are just being nice with the compliments and whether or not those compliments are genuine and I would agree that in some cases, people are just trying to do the right thing by encouraging you with their nice comments and their cheerleading routine. However, PLEASE KNOW THIS, there isn’t a single person on your comment site that is patronizing you by telling you what they think you want to hear. Just look at yourself! You’ve worked very hard and it shows lady!
So when the President of the WFF leaves a comment on your page and tells you that you are ready to compete, there should be no doubt in your mind that you are ready. The real burning question here is…DO YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE READY? Only you can answer that. All the best to you!

You pose some great questions. I started competing (bodybuilding) last year and i felt the same way. But the truth is once you get on stage the opinions of the others really dont matter. If you know you trained your ass off and followed your diet to the "t" then once you step on that stage you will never want to come off of it. You just want to show off what all your hardwork dedication and sacrifices have done for you. Go get ‘em.

Congrats on your transformation and success! Its hard for anyone from this end of the world to get into the top echelon but if you don’t try you’ll never know! Just look at Rosa Marie Romero..Keep uo the fantastic work
