Shorts Strokes for Swimmin’ Folks
Today I began my reassociation with the demon mistress known as the swimming pool.
I began with the standard breast stroke to guage my water awareness. After one lap I knew I was in for a long, long process. I did roughly 4-5 laps using different strokes each time. The only thing I learned today was my backstroke is my best stroke (i.e. quickest, best form). Just like when I started weightlifting, I gotta keep at it and I’ll get better. It has been a few years since I swam so it was to be expected. More on this topic later on.
