Lawrence, it’s very hard to get a complete amino acid profile on a vegan diet. It’s not impossible, but you might find it helpful to consult with a Registered Dietician or Nutritionist.
Most of my clients who lean towards vegetarianism still admit some animal proteins - they are open to lacto/ovo or something similar. I can work with that restriction. But pure vegans need competent professional assistance.
It’s also worth mentioning that absent cholesterol, your body will not be able to keep your testosterone at a healthy level (800-1200 ng/dl). That will impact your ability to synthesize profeins (build muscle).
Good luck,
Joey

This is a timely post for me. I’ve actually just started going vegetarian. Right now im ovo/lacto (it’s been about two months), but I do try to skip milk and eggs if I can.
I’ve done a lot of research on the issue of protein in a vegan diet, and there’s so many conflicting opinions. I think it’s entirely possible to consume the necessary proteins with a complete amino acid profile. The issue I find is that vegetables tend to be far less protein- and calorie- dense, so as an athlete, you have to eat more volume to get the same protein impact.
I’m using myself as a guinea pig. I’m gonna stick to my guns on this and not let anyone tell me vegetarianism isn’t a healthy way of life, no less a viable diet for a bodybuilder. I can honestly say that these past two months my body has never felt better. Yes, it could be psychological, and it could be a coincidence. But this feels right to me.

I have taken a look at hacres and how do you stay trim and muscular eating that way? Breakfast - Barley max, snack vegetable juice, lunch Salad, Snack-vegetable juice again and dinner - cooked food then snack after fruit? Eating this way you still got trim? Is it your exercise routine? I am having trouble getting trim like you. What do you eat?

to be honest I have never had a problem staying trim with me it’s the opposite trying to gain.
I would recomend the hallelujah diet for you aong with not eating after sundown and no drinking for at least 3 hours before you go to bed so your body can really get a good rest.
not that I have mastered this myself but it is the goal.
