Finally managed to restart the cutting… Swimming, cardio, abs, all back on normal pace… Result : in 4 days, weight is back on track, bodyfat going down and this morning… best abs ever in the mirror - so glad to see, but couldn’t take a pic! Nearly getting where i want to!

Just had a few hard weeks, where diet & lifting weren’t priority nr 1, and i see it in the results… feeling tired, up 2 kg again…
Got to get it back on track now - just have 2 calm weeks ahead, i want to use them to reorganise my diet, and get some regular training sessions again. Discovering new gym, new habits, new colleagues makes it hard to do everything as i like, but it’ll be ok before holiday.
Catching up with missed sessions today - Legs in the morning, Shoudlers in the evening.. will be a pretty sore night!

As each year, May-June is difficult for training… plenty of work, trainings, conferences, everything at work is made to prevent me from working out… the bad moment as it’s just the end of the cutting diet… have to slow down on workouts, and try to take the best from the few sessions i manage to do.
And i’ll have to get it restarted when it’s a bit more calm… will be late with my results, but i’ll get there!

Needed a break after weeks of staying clean… so i treated myself a small cheat weekend - restaurant, a bit more relaxed on eating…
and i must say i feel much better - regained a bit of weight, and feel rounder… so that’s also nice for motivation once in a while…
and now getting back on track, though professional life doesn’t leave me much room for training and eating right!

Under 75kg this morning - not far from the lightest i’ve ever been, and certainly the leanest i’ve been! the abs are there and well there. Planning to go on for another 2 weeks and then rebuild a bit of mass - started to notice serious decrease in arms & chest size.
After the cut, i want to get back to a good mass while trying to save the hardly acquired abs… new challenge for the summer!

gone down again, seems every change in diet, exercises or anything just translates immediately! Swimming 3X/w for 50min, Cardio 5X/w, intense workouts, less and different carbs repartition and i’ve lost another kg…
Need to get the lower abs to show as the upper ones now! and the deadline of 15th May still seems realistic.

Just decided to adapt diet again - after 3 days, weight loss is restarting. Good sight on the abs in the morning, not too much strength loss, still can lift quite hard.
Changing training routines quite a lot, testing new ideas - thanks to all those who send me different workouts - i’m playing with new combinations, and the feelings are awesome!
Need to be careful - slight pain in the lower back, so i just avoid heavy weights on "dangerous" exercises, but it seems to get progressively away!

Ok - there’s still a lot to do to look ripped, but since this week, I see the shape of my abs clearly. "Nearly" back to the level of abs i had before bulking, but i’m still 4kg heavier than at the time.
35min of cardio at every workout, 3X 50 min of swimming per week… eating clean - as much as possible while at work - finally the efforts start to pay. And at the same time i haven’t lost much strength, still lifting about the routine weights of the bulk.
If i keep that direction, i might be able to make good new pics - and to be satisfied for a while, before i start thinking of the next step!

Starting to see first effects of the cut - my adonis belt is back, my upper abs start to show a shade of shape… Keeping my cardio with my secret weapons… a good book and my i-pod, restarted swimming this week… hope to see more effects.
I’m already down under 80kg, not too fast to keep the strength, but fair enough.
I’ve got rid of my unreliable training buddy - without him even noticing, as he’s still phoning to cancel the sessions together - and started training with another guy. Bigger, stronger, but less technical and less complete… so i’m now leading the legs and arms sessions, while he leads chest, shoulders & back…
Keeping an eye on the scale, an eye on the mirror… hope to get to my objective of getting ripped!

Incredible how fast the body reacts to the slightest change.. was told to add some cardio to my sessions.. in a week, i lost over 2 kg without changing much in the diet.. need to keep an eye on everything and constantly adapt my sessions & eating!
Good thing is Mr Training Buddy is back in the panorama… if it stays, i have my external eye again to help me adapt on time.. we’ll see this week!
with a little luck, the cut will be easier than i feared!
