Good surprise this morning - was above the 85kg i set as an objective for my bulk.
Decided to keep the alimentation up, but to restart swimming slowly, so I would get rid of excess bodyfat. Can’t wait to see the abs coming back. And swimming should definitely help my shoulder…
Tomorrow is my 2nd shoulder treatment - hope to get better from it again, as I haven’t been able to do a proper shoulder session for ages - good sessions but without presses seems only half of it!
Didn’t think i’d get to 85kg that easily - though it’s not that pleasant… feeling heavy all the time, not quite happy with the visual effect… should get arms up to match size gains in chest and back…

After the visit to the doctor, felt much better… instruction is not to stop training, but avoiding the exercises that are painful for 4 weeks, while the treatment is going on…
In the evening, shoulder felt much better… decided to work my back, where shoulder and elbow are not too involved…. Gosh! I’d forgotten how pleasant it was to workout and not to be limited by pain! realised i’d been limiting myself for months, not because of strength, but in anticipation of the pain!
Result : i broke several records yesterday without even realising i was training harder than usual…
And i decided to be reasonable (not too often!) and not to train hard on my biceps yesterday… Just made one ex out of curiosity to check the sensations. If all goes well, injury would be cured within 4 weeks!
And i could sleep without being woken up by shoulder pain for the first time since weeks!!! Great feeling!

Wasn’t a goal as i count in kg, but i found it nice to notice i was over 185lb for the first time in my life. Just 800g to go and i’m at the aim of 85kg. Good thing is the bodyfat isn’t as high as for last year’s bulk - feeling it in my clothes, but was more a problem last year - guess the size is better dispatched accross the body.
Will try to maintain around that weight or keep bulking slowly until February to start my cut.
And… today’s the visit to the doctor for my shoulder… hope he’s not gonna tell me to stop and hope it’s not too serious… If that’s getting me back on track, i’ll be able to keep increasing lifts… otherwise, i’ll have to do my legs 4X/w… quads here we go!

Bulking is going fast - got over my heaviest point of last year today… and i’m nowhere as fat as i got during last year’s bulk.
Lifts have been increasing like mad - bench from 110 to 140kg, shoulder press with db from 32kg to 38kg db, curling with 32kg…
Collateral damage is my shoulder… pain is growing, and i have to stop doing pressing movements for a while to enable repairing… hope this doesn’t affect the progress too much! will take it easy for a moment - 4 days off, legs training next week… and keep hoping!

Cheat week end… restaurant, a little more carbs, rest days… and Poof! +2kg! Everyone is asking me what i’ve done this week end… my partner doens’t recognise me.. my trousers are getting tight round the thighs (fortunately not at the waist yet)…
Of course, not all of it is good… some fat around, abs disappearing a bit… but i’m glad to see the evolution. Started Aug 20th, and i gained +/- 5kg already… just 5 more to go!!!!

Been 2 weeks since I increased my cal intake… just checked how many… coming from 2200cal/d end of the cut, i’m now up to 3500, and seeing absolutely no effect on the scale… even after 2 weeks!
Lifting as heavy as i can, eating well, but just seems i have an internal regulator that set my weight to 75kg and doesn’t want to move. Thought i gained 2 lb, but they’re gone already! frustrating!
Bulk will be tough - especially as I’m a slow eater and have to litterally stuff myself to eat!
Maybe i should start eating Pizza, Ice cream and doughnuts… at least i’d be gaining something!

Back from a week off - restarting slowly, getting back into my diet and program… Carefully to avoid injuries.
Now starting to increase carbs, slow down on swimming, and get back to heavier lifts… Prepared a good diet for the coming weeks, an intensive program…. hope to see the difference. The real bulk will start beginning of September, but i want to get there prepared.
Would be good to hit 85kg this time, without being too fat!

Grr! Getting frustrated about weight now - seems my body’s got used to cutting, and burning everything i try to eat! Changing diet, increasing cal intake… whatever now, my weight is coming back to a constant value
Trying to add some size back after the cutting period - seems i’ll have to go for a good bulk to regain some weight - and i have the bulk cycle! Got great advice for dieting from my friend Maxotmeal, but after a few day’s progression, i get back to the original value, like I’ve been conditioned now to burn every cal i eat! Starting to discourage me!

Week off is over - back today… full body workout. Feels nice to restart after just a week!
Managed not to destroy all efforts in a week… just couldn’t eat enough - had to skip several meals… so restarted with a light full body workout. nice sensations!
Preparing to bulk when i can have enough time to be consistant again… let’s say after summer!

First week after the end of the conferences & congress season… full of motivation - push hard as hell to get my sensations back! Feeling good now!
Manage to increase lifts, especially on shoulders, the weakest area… also good news!
Need to find a way to gain size now while staying lean - i’ve finished my cut, weigth is +/- stable, so the next idea is to get bigger and keep my abs… without the money for good supps… hard time coming up!
