20 Rep Squat
Well yesterday was leg day…I knew I was in for a long haul this work out…I read up on this work out routine on getting bigger gains on your legs by doing the 20 rep squat. The article is on this web site you just got to look for it if you’re interested in reading it. Anyways back to the squat rack, well I stretched and warmed up like usual. I did 3 sets of normal weight, increasing the weight every set. Then it was crunch time, so then I figured out the weight that I should do. One the weight was on the bar I took some deep breaths, I set myself under the bar, turned up my earphones, and picked up the bar off the rack. The first several reps I was good up and down, by my 9th one I could feel my legs starting to burn. Down and up, down and up, 13 I got 7 more. I was counting one by one, feeling the bar heavier every time the bar when down. I keep telling my self just a few more… by 19 and 20 I was really aching having to go down fearing that I was not going to be able to get back up. But I got up, 20! Racked the weight and fell to a knee, trying to catch my breath. Took a big gulp of my water and moved on to my next exercise.
Today I am feeling it having trouble getting in and out of my chair, but it’s a feel good pain.

Hey great job! 20s are really tough. I actually dropped a blog about that a little while back.

My legs are alot stronger since then almost 100lbs on squats more and another 200 on presses. I plan to do 20s this coming leg workout. Keep it up man!
