So this month has been a rough one. In the beginning of the month i had an infection so i was on meds and basically chill rest for almost 2 weeks (No GYM). Plus the meds made me feel so nauseas where i didnt want to eat ANYTHING. Then i had my in-laws come from Chicago, who dont exactly eat healthy like we do so … basically it was biscuits, pizza (ate half of a slice, then switched to a blueberry nutrigrain bar), burgers, and fried chicken(i took the skin off of it). At least breakfast was semi healthy biscuits where the worse thing, but we had eggs, and turkey bacon YUM. My husband and i tried to eat as healthy as we can, but we didnt want to offend anyone by making healthy food. We tried that one day and they basically just looked and picked at the food. Yeah i was a little offended that some of them didnt want to even try it. Hey if they want to stay overweight thats on them, i tried to help. After that incident i was so upset i didnt want to cook anything. And this week i am going to the gym, but also i have surgery on my hand on friday were i will be unable to workout for another week. I guess i will just have to start my workout and strict diet again on May 1st. I feel so heavy from eating all that bad food. UGH!!! I dont even want to look at the scale. THIS SUCKS!!!!

So i have been doing this diet and exercise plan for 3 weeks now. I am a little discouragesd just because i have lost 4 lbs in the last 3 weeks. I do cardio 3 times a week for 30 minutes, and switch from upper body and lower body days. I understand that sometimes the first month is slow. But i am still a little sad by how slow it is going. I have lost some inches, which is making me feel like it is working … kind of. I had talked to my friend Chuck who is a trainer, and he was telling me that the reason my weight hasnt changed too much is because of the weight training that i am doing. Muscle weighs more than fat. But i dont know. I am thinking of changing my workout plan for next month …
mon/wed/fri - upper body, abs, and 30 mins of cardio
tues/thurs/sat - lower body, abs, and 30 mins of cardio
sun - off
