Is it really possible to build lean muscle & lose fat at the same time?
I’ve heard time & time again of people in their "bulking" phase or in their "cutting phase"
Let me know your comments! - Thanks!

Absolutely the old myth is that you can turn fat into muscle which is not treu so what happens with enough cardio and a solid workout plan yes you will gain lean muscle if you stick to a rep range no lower than 8 reps, stay stretched out and yes you absolutely can burn fat and build lean muscle.
Yes, it’s really possible. It’s what I’ve been doing for the past 4 years. I made slow but steady progress for the first 3 and a half years, eating basically whatever I wanted, but now since I’ve gotten smart about nutrition I’ve had great results the last six months. I think it’s probably harder to do both at the same time if you want fast results. That’s why people ‘bulk’ or ‘cut’ - they are focusing on either muscle growth or body fat reduction and don’t expect both to happen together.
When you think about the fact that it takes energy to build muscle, and it takes about 15 times more energy to maintain muscle tissue than fat tissue (so I’ve read), it only makes sense that over time your body will have to convert its fat reserves to help build and maintain your muscles as they grow. Of course, nutrition plays a key role in this process, and its often where most people run into trouble. I’ve been fortunate to learn how to make food work for me in my life instead or working against me.
I agree with Speedy, but I will say that’s not always the most efficient way of doing things. It may be for some people, but the key is finding what works best for you.
