Good Plan, No Execution!

Friday, December 21st, 2007
As you can see, I never got around to posting my PM workout - That’s because it didn’t happen.  I was up until 5 AM this morning with my youngest one that has crooping cough.  He’s a tropper - he runs around & plays as much as he can, until his body just tells him “hey, it’s time to lay it down.”
I’ll post again after my workout tonight
Here’s what the next 4 weeks will look like:
Monday AM: Cardio X
Monday PM: Chest. Shoulders, & Triceps, Ab Ripper X
Tuesday:  Plyometrics
Wednesday AM: Cardio X
Wednesday PM:  Back & Biceps, Ab Ripper X
Thursday:  Plyometrics
Friday AM:  Cardio X
Friday PM:  Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X
Saturday:  Kempo X
Sunday:  Plyometrics, X Stretch
Monday AM:  Core Synergestics

REMEMBER:  This blog is a about my transformation from my faults.  One of my “developmental opportunities” has been - Good Plan, No Execution!
…We’ll see

AM Workout

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

OMG!  Today I was "scheduled" to do P90X - Chest, Back, and Abs.  I probably made it through 10-15 minutes of the workout before stopping.  I guess that’s what happens when you’re over 300 lbs with asthma & you haven’t worked out in forever.  It’s hard getting back on the horse after falling.

On the other hand nutrition wise, I took a 12 oz can of tuna, put it on a skillet, sprinkled some lemon pepper, and that was that.  Then I took the cooked tuna (about 4 oz), some baby spinach, a spinach wrap & viola!  That’s my meal - Not real exciting, but one thing I’ve is that in order to stay on the Eat Clean Lifestyle; you need to adopt an attitude/mentality that “food is fuel.”  (Thanks ChickenTuna)  “Fuel your body
properly and step away from eating the crap.”

S.I.P.

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

OMG!  I am soooo proud of myself today!  I had a make shift equipment that worked.  OK…

I have one of those "door gyms" (www.tobands.com) with the bungee cords.  I also have a 6 lb belt so…

What I did was I took 2 rings from a strong keychain & attached them to the back of my belt, then I hooked the bungee cords (that were anchored by the door gym)….

Then I took off like I was coming off the starting line!  Once I got to a point where the bungee cord started to pull me back - I just continued to SIP (Sprint in place)!  Here’s my workout

Minutes 1-4:
Jog in place 50% effort

Minute 5:
Sprinting for 20 seconds
Rest for 10 seconds
Sprinting for 20 seconds
Rest for 10 seconds

Minute 6:

Minute 7:

Pictures

Sunday, December 9th, 2007

Ya know, I read a quote on one of BodySpace friend’s page that got me to thinking.  It stated something to the effect of "one day we’ll all be gone from this earth, but one way memories of us live on is through pictures…"

Well, hell - Why do I workout?  So I can leave some kick ass pictures for my family & friends to remember me!
