Thursday, February 15th, 2007Ok I started lifting in Nov 06 at the wifes prompting. I retired from the Air Force in Feb 05 and started to get lazy. Of course I put on about 35 pounds and out of shape. I started a new job in Mar 06 teaching Combat skills and techniques to Air Force personnel before they deploy to Iraq. So finnally I thought I would let the wife take me into the gym on Saturdays and do a little lifting. After about three Saturdays I decided to start going into the gym before work and do some lifting 3 days a week. I started out light with 3 sets of about 10 exercises each day. In Jan 07 I started using muscle Milk to help muscle building and lat loss. The stuff really started to help.
Now at the beginning of Feb 07 I started hitting the gym 6 days a week. Mon, Wens, & Fri I do 6 se6ts of 13 exercises and on Tues,Thurs & Saturday I do 30 min cardio and then my leg exercises.
I use Muscle Milk Light now, which I take post work-out.
I’m at a point where I look foward to getting up at 3:45 am and being at the gym by 4:30 am.
Putting togeather a new workout plan to start next week and also going to start using the patch to quit smoking.
