Well, I have decided come Sunday I’m going back on a carb cycling diet one that my last trainer Jason made for me. I need to kick things up a bit until my body gets back into that fat burning zone. Then after I’ll start adding more foods. My workout for today is as follows…..ABS, CHEST, BIS + CARDIO.

abs~

crunches on swiss ball W/ medicine ball ~ 3 sets of 15 reps

woodchops on swiss ball w/ medicine ball ~ 3 sets of 15 reps

leg raises on swiss ball ~ 3 sets of 15 reps

CHEST~

Flat bench machine press ~ 3 sets of 8 reps (HEAVY)

Dumbbell flyes ~ 3 sets of 8 reps (HEAVY)

BIS ~

Incline dumbbell curls ~ 3 sets of 8 reps (HEAVY)

Alternating hammer curls (standing)  ~ 3 sets of 8 reps (HEAVY)

Cardio ~

45 min of HIIT with my Ifit treadmill programs

That’s it for today, feeling better every day, just taking one day at a time, I’ll get there!!

I’m back, just been busy the past few days so I’ll write out what I’ve done. I actually took Friday off instead of Sunday because I wasn’t home most of the day. So the plyo work I mentioned in my last blog was done on Saturday, KICKED MY BOOTY!! Sundays workout consisted of the following

BACK, SHOULDERS,TRIS AND CARDIO

At the time I only do two exercise per body part and go SUPER HEAVY doing only eight reps. I’m finding this is really working for my body. I’m lifting way heavier than I used to.

Back~

Dumbbell row on incline bench

Seated cable row

Shoulders~

Shoulder sweep raise (incline bench)

dumbbell cross punching

Tris~

Barbell skull crushers

Close grip barbell bench press

Cardio~ 45 min of HIIT with my Ifit program on my treadmill

Monday Legs + Cardio

Single leg step ups with weights

single leg squats (leg on bench)

hip extensions on swiss ball

donkey kicks (strap on cables)

single leg deadlift with dumbbells

single leg curl (with cable strap )

pile’ squats with 40 lbs until failure

30 min HIIT using my ifit program for my treadmill

Tuesday cardio

45 min HIIT using my ifit program for my treadmill

I’m feeling much better but am becoming extremely impatient!! I KNOW I need to relax and be patient, I’m trying! It’s been a long time since I’ve acutally enjoyed working out. I’m glad to be feeling this way again. Everything in balance this time around, when I try to get quick results by overtraining and extreme dieting I burn out! That’s it for today. Have a great workout today everyone! =)

Okay well after 3 yrs of being on BodySpace I’ve finally decided to start a blog. Honestly I’m not really sure what the hell you might find here, ha! I will however, post my workouts/eating and how I felt for the day. I’m sure some other random stuff as well.

Some of you might know that I have delt with some very personal issues this past summer and hit rock bottom. Instead of doing what I knew was right, (focusing on my body/clean eating/training) I let the depression take control while missing workouts, drinking too much and not eating enough/clean. After three months of this I found myself even more miserable and skinny fat. I swore I would never be here again and well here I am. After some real  soul searching, I’ve been back on track for about a month now. Not sure why I ever stopped, it’s an amazing feeling to get those workouts in, while eating clean. There is NOTHING in this world that compares to how it feels to look and feel healthy/fit. So clean eating and consistant workouts for the past month have been my best friend!! No messing around it’s a lifestyle, MY LIFESTYLE from here on out.

Today is my plyo day, I’ll be doing the following workout~

Walking lunges x 12

bench jumps x 12

side lunges x 12

pop squats x 12

walking pump lunges x 12

I do this whole group of plyos 7 times in a row. It takes about 20 min to half an hour to complete. Trust me when I say I’m sweatin’ like a pig and my legs are burning big time.

Okay well there ya have it, my first bodyblog!! I hope to do this daily but can’t make any promises. As always thanks to all my bodyspace friends for your encouragement, support and inspiriation!
