			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stayed on-line reading about abs last night (article on the main page caught my attention), and have decided to give it all I&#8217;ve got in search of some muscle definition in my abdominal area.</p>
<p>The clean eating solved my fat issue there&#8230;but even after 3 kids and at the age of 40, I would LOVE to have muscular abs.</p>
<p>I printed off my workout plan&#8230;and am headed off to the gym for my workout&#8230;I&#8217;ll keep you guys posted&#8230;Heck, if it works-I&#8217;ll be plastering pics of my stomach flex daily.</p>
<p>Thanks for the inspiration!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes I feel like I am just going thru the motions. Eating right and working out become bland as I get used to just maintaining and not seeing improvement. I spent the whole summer just maintaining. My fortieth birthday came and went and I felt myself settling into a rut&#8230;.</p>
<p>But then, I watched the Olympics. Dara Torres&#8230;41 years old&#8230;ripped to shreds..and a FIERCE competitor&#8230;placed a fire in me that I haven&#8217;t felt in over a year. She inspired me!</p>
<p>I immediately started planning my meals and workouts again. I started last Friday. HIIT training is what I chose and I blasted my chest and quads.  Ate right thru the weekend and hit hams and back on Monday, ran windsprints on Tuesday along with abs and stretching.</p>
<p>Looking forward to being in the game again. Coming to this site to keep track and remain inspired by looking at all you guys. Cant wait to see the gains!!!

Somehow, by not allowing myself to eat everything I want..I have effectively added hours on to the day&#8230;.Do you know how long 8 hours is? I do&#8230;cause I laid awake for all of them last night willing myself not to get up and go eat!!

<p>Funny thing is, yesterday was my best day! My energy level was off the charts&#8230;my stomach was Flat&#8230;my skin glowing&#8230;and I even had a good hair day&#8230;Maybe that is why my body chose to never shut down&#8230;didn&#8217;t want that good day to end&#8230;</p>
<p>Still feel good&#8230;still sipping my lemon concoction and waiting for bedtime&#8230;please let me sleep&#8230;please!!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For all of those who have inquired&#8230;I am doing the Lemonade Detox&#8230;basically, it&#8217;s organic lemons, Grade B Maple Syrup (natural form of glutamine) and cayenne pepper. It&#8217;s a 10 day detox but most people do it for 3. I have never done it before, but one of my clients is planning on doing it in January and asked me what I thought of it&#8230;.so, stupid me wanted to be able to give her an informed opinion&#8230;</p>
<p>According to my research, this detox is suppose to cleanse your system of impurities and make your body ready for clean eating. Most people&#8217;s digestive system is so clogged with preservatives and sludge that even when they eat right, the nutrients doesn&#8217;t quite make it through for a few weeks..this jumpstarts the process.</p>
<p>So far, if the goal of this detox is to make you extremely grouchy, lust at the sight of food advertisements, and go to bed at an ungodly early hour&#8230;then it&#8217;s going great!!</p>
<p>One benefit of the program is that I&#8217;ve really gotten into the martyr thing!! I have planned out a week full of healthy meals for my kids and busily clean house while they are eating the scrumptious smelling pot roast that has been simmering in the crockpot all day while I sip on my lemon juice.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s really not so bad&#8230;It&#8217;s actually making me see how much of an emotional eater I am&#8230;and I know that those egg whites and oatmeal are gonna taste so good when I finally get them again!!</p>

<p>So, I researched the subject and am doing a 10 day detox &#8230; if I actually do all 10 days I will successfully take myself through Christmas Day without ingesting enough calories to last me through the winter. But, at this point, I&#8217;m only doing it one day at a time just to see if I can.</p>
<p>So, if I snap at anyone or leave nasty messages on your space..just understand, it&#8217;s not my fault&#8230;I&#8217;m a woman under duress!!</p>
<p>Wish me luck&#8230;or better yet, pray for my children! Ha! Ha!
