I just got back from the gym and only did some stretching and ten leg extensions at 175 lbs. I was too tired to continue. Tired as in sleepy tired, even though I got plenty of sleep last night. I guess my body is still getting used to excersizing again. Kind of taking a long time…

My chest was a little sore today. I should have taken it slower before… I will definetely take it nice and slow when I start riding my bike, unless I don’t feel like it. ha.

I just came back from the gym and didn’t really do anything. I did a half hour of stretching and tried to do the hand bike but had no strenght. I did ten reps leg curl sitting at 175 and ten extension at 175 and decided to go home. I woke up tired from yesterday which wasn’t a surprise. I figured I’d play it safe and not do anything today as I’ve been suffering from symptoms of overdoing it. I haven’t been lifting for that long so it makes sense to me that I can’t lift hard every day quite yet. My lungs have been doing poorly lately which has been a major pain.  I also have a huge belly. I guess taking that time off this last time did a job on me. I really need to stay on top of things from here on as I’m getting older, but I don’t want to think about that whole aging thing.

It’s three am and I just came back from four hours at the gym. I sleptt all day and wasn’t up to a hundred percent though. The mechanic woke me up telling me I needed to put in another five hundred bucks for a new starter that just went out and that it would be ready at four so I stayed around waiting for his call but he never did so I finally went to the gym at ten thirty. I started out with a half hour of stretching and then was standing around with my thumb up my ass and this guy came up and wanted me to spot him so afterwards I figured I’d go ahead and have him spot me too on the 225 to see how many I could do. I told him to not help me unless it was clear I wasn’t going to be able to lift it but he did anyways on the third one but told me that he only helped me five percent. Anyways I guess I could say that I can do it three times. Afterwards I lifted 135 20x and my record is 29 so I guess when I was stronger I could have done 225 like five. My goal is to do it seven before I leave here because that is how many times that little 140 lbs girl did in the video from sh************. Maybe I could do eight. I did more presses and arm stuff and some more stretching and a 5k run in a half hour. The run was kind of a struggle because I don’t feel that great and my left achilles is hurt. I just think I have a bad achilles tendon. I remember that it was like that when I was a little kind. I knew the story of Achilles since way back because of that. I will probably be ready to lose all of this weight when I leave here and see if I’ll be able to run marathons out in the desert.

I think I’ll be able to do my four hours tomorrow. I have to remember to not do any sugar or I’ll be screwed for four days. silly me.

yup somethings wrong with me. I had zilcho blood sugar today too and stretched at the gym but was unable to keep my eyes open so i went home. I ate plenty last night but drank a bottle of wine so I guess I just can’t take any kind of sugar and expect to have energy the next day. If i feel like this tomorrow I wont bother to go to the gym.

this will be the third day in a row that I don’t lift. the first day I didn’t because i had to get up after three hours of sleep and work all day and didnt’ have the energy after and had eaten five bags of candy and a 40 ounce and didn’t have the energy. the day after I didn’t have the energy and I don’t today either. I may have not had it today because I didn’t eat enough yesterday. I’ve been drinking beer too. Maybe it’s just a cyclical thing. I was just in the gym and did a little stretching but was totally low blood sugar so I had to go home. no biggie. i need to remember to not eat candy or drink alcohol because my endocryne system or whatever just can’t handle it like it used to. I’m screwed the next day if I don’t eat right the day before.

I felt good today but not totally fresh and I haven’t felt fresh for a long time now and figured I’d take the day off to get fresh for tomorrow. I had stuff to do anyways.

I just got back from 3:10 at the gym and I’m totally thrashed. Maybe I didn’t eat enough while I was working out or maybe I just pumped it a lot. I did 20 minutes on the hand bike for starters. I felt sore and tired, sort of, this morning but felt good on the bike doing like over 150 watts on the harder settings 15-20. I did 20 for five minutes, then 15, then 10, and then 5 and worked up a sweat. Then I stretched for a half hour and did the pulldown drop set ab workout with 20 reps, 50 leg ups, the bicep then tricep alternating drop set from 110 pounds down to 70 where I stopped alternating and took it down to like 30. Then I did four sets of 180 lbs chest fly followed by 120 back fly on the same machine. I did a couple 20 rep back ups a set of situps on that great machine ten reps at 120 lbs, hung out in the hot tub for ten minutes, three sets of military press on the machine at 100 lbs, at the beginning I drop setted the aided pullup machine. I did a little stretching to end it. That’s all I remember for now. I wonder how I’ll feel tomorrow because I’m thrashed. I was there in my sandles the whole time because I forgot to put my shoes on so I didn’t go into the free weights section.

I just got back from four hours. I felt good when I got up, although my chest and shoulders were sore. I had insomnia until probably just before sunrise and got up at around 11:00 because of my fan and the rain last night made it too cold and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Lately when I get up from an enteruption and I’m still tired I can’t get back to sleep. It never used to be like that. I guess that’s got something to do with getting older. It’s good in some ways but bad in others. I went to the gym on like five hours of sleep and felt it so I got an NOX sugar free energy drink and did a half hour of stretching, then two sets of 10 of: Hip abduction 1 150 lbs slow, Hip abduction 2 150 lbs slow, Leg extension 175 lbs slow, Sitting leg curl 175 lbs slow, calf raise with three plates. With the calf raises the reps and weight varies because people change the plates and I don’t like adding and removing them so I just do 20 reps is there are only two 45lbs plates, slow. Deep leg squat machine 300 lbs, 350 lbs on the other machine, slow. I felt tired so I did another 30 minutes of stretching and then 20 minutes in the hot tub, so today I did 1:20 of stretching and soaking. I’m getting more limber. I was tired walking around but when I start lifting the tired feeling goes away, so going home from lack of sleep is a lame excuse; unless you’re really tired. Then I did five more sets until my four hours was up, so I did 7 sets of six different leg excersizes today. I was sweating most of the time, so I did well today. I’m stronger than the other day when I did these leg excersizes so I think I’ll up the weight next time. I’ll try some other leg stuff too probably, but for the time being I like the routine I’m doing now. I love huge gyms! There are so many different ways to work out. I didn’t run today, or do any other cardio. I think I’ll give that a try tomorrow. Anyone who says four hours a day at the gym is too much is wrong.

I just got back from 2.5 hrs at the gym. I woke up very tired again today and tried to run but realized immediately that it would be a bad idea. When I got out of bed I could barely walk. I stretched for a half hour and did 20 minutes on the hand bike. I was very weak but it was fun enough and I worked up a sweat. I watched that body builder girl do all sorts of crazy ab excersizes today that I tried and will try laters. I did the knee pulldown ab drop set, then 50 leg ups, then ten bodyweight supported leg ups and ten hanging leg ups which I saw the girl doing. Then 50 12 lbs ball holding leg off the ground side to side placements. Then I benched 185 10x and 135 15x. I barely put up the 135lbs 15x but a Swartzenegro started spotting me so I went to failure and got out of his way so he could do his sets of 315. At that point my heart was pounding and I started sweating bullets and realized my body was begging for mercy so I decided to do another half hour of stretching and go home.

I should have taken the day off the other day, if I had I would have recovered and would be able to be doing my four hours by now, but whatever; I know I’ll recover one of these days. Maybe I will be able to put in my four hours tomorrow.

I worked out for four hours yesterday and got up this morning very tired. I went into the gym and barely was able to run five K in under a half hour and my shins were throbbing afterwards. I was hurting for my stretch routine and did a tricep pulldown exersize and a couple of leg scissors pushing out and was weak and so I figured it would be wise to take the day off. No biggie because I know that once I get my speed up I will be able to put in four hours a day and recover from it. I just need to work up to it.

I don’t ever want to take so much time off of excersizing again because I don’t like having to struggle with recovery and all that. I saw that cute bodybuilder girl in the gym today doing an interesting leg workout that I’m going to try the next time i’m in there. She’s the most creative person I’ve ever seen in the gym. There was this black afro dude the last time I was working out who was pretty creative and he was in there like every night but he’s not been there since I started up again.

I don’t think I’ll run tomorrow but I hope I’ll be good to lift.
