It’s been a while.

It’s been a while since i’ve posted a blog.  I’ve been doing all my typing lately in the forums.

I’ve been on and off my diet and training for the last 4 weeks.  I have to admit, i don’t like being off of either of them.  I usually feel like crap when i am, not to mention i feel fat and bloated.

The reasons for being off of the diet a couple of times is camping and my best friends wedding.  Now the camping was more of an excuse but the wedding was not.  My bff was married this weekend and i spent 4 days being a Maid of Honor/slave to my bff.  lol.  It’s ok but i was unable to calculate or track my eating, i could barley pay attention to anything other than the wedding.  But it’s over and i’m back on my diet and back in the gym.  I feel great.

I’ve been working hard on coming up with a workout program to fit my diet without being stuck in the gym for over 2hrs.  (Single working mom, i don’t have 2hrs to spend in the gym)  I need to work certain muscle groups on certain days and i’m used to doing isolation exercises 5 days a week not compound for 3 days.   I’ve learned a few things along the way too.  I truly believe i’m working smarter and not harder.  My muscles get the same workout in less time.  The supersets help too.  lol

Well that’s it for now.

Hey Jen, I love supersets & dropsets. I also do splits. Max of 1 or 2 muscles per workout, so that I have time to hit weights & cardio most workouts (except leg day).

    Man, I love wedding cake……….LOL. :D

haha…i ate a lot of crap the day after the wedding. That was the worst. At the end of the day i thought about what i had consumed and holy crap, it was a lot of carbs and fat. I probably consumed close to 4000-5000 cals. :(

I also do splits with supersets, i have to. lol. Those can be tough.

Well don’t sweat it too much (er, unless you do in the gym ;) ). You don’t indulge like that all the time. I’ve had my share of those kind of days, and I’m still kicking. Just keep charging amiga. :D

I don’t, but breaks from the diet and gym halt progress. I hate that. I was starting to have great progress for a few weeks and i have to start over again.

That’s ok. I know i’m disciplined and i can focus on my own life now. lol

Its the maid of honor’s duty to go off her diet and exercise program to make the bride look virtuous by comparison. Its good that your workout is evolving. You need to change it up to keep mentally and physically fresh. :)
