9/8/08 I am sooooo SORE and I love it!!!! I have missed this feeling. I can’t wait to work out again tomorrow. I can’t imagine any other time in my life when I enjoyed physical pain except when it comes to working out and playing sports. Just when you think that you are too sore to have another workout you do any way and you actually feel better, or is that just me? Damn you lactic acid, I need a massage.

To start out my blog I suppose I can tell a little about myself. I grew up with a mother who was a personal trainer and fitness instructor for 20 years, so I guess you could say that fitness is in my blood. I was very athletic when I was younger, I played soccer, basketball and softball at the high school and college level. I miss playing organized sports but working out has helped fill that void. I really started to lift hard in the fall of 2004 and then came my beautiful daughter. After she was born I got back into shape very quickly until I decided to return to school for Nursing while working. While being in nursing school that is when I really let my body go. I’m fed up with not feeling comfortable in any outfit I have on and hating the way I look in a mirror. I will be in the best shape of my life very soon!!!
P.S. I hope that everyone else is able to reach their fitness goals!
