Still feeling a bit uneasy about my off season physique. It is a bit uncomfortable for me to be up 12 lbs. from my show. I understand fundamentally I need to gain the weight so I can gain the size I want but goodness! I feel like princess big butt!!! Anyway, my workouts are going well I am gaining some strength which confirms my progress. I would like to increase my flat bench chest press but I feel "stuck". I also need to add some extra work for my hamstrings because they are lacking. I am enjoying having some room to play with my diet but I am excited to see what is under the flab when I lean out. It is just like christmas!

Made my 2008 competition plans! Wanted to do a show in Boston in May but I just don’t think my body is ready to diet again. I have only been "off-season" for 8 weeks, I don’t think my body is ready to diet again. I dieted for almost 30 weeks last year which is why I think I couldn’t get as lean as I would have liked. so, I decided to do the Alamo Showdown in San Antonio last weekend in Oct. then do my first NGA show as a pro the first weekend in November. Feeling a little inimidated by the other pro women I will be competing against!
My workouts are back on track, got all 5 in this week. My strength is increasing quite a bit which leads me to believe I am putting on a little bit of size. It is hard for me to get used to being this thick (gained 10 lbs.) since last show, but I know i have too. You know, I am a heavy weight lol. Cracks me up, 128 lb. heavyweight, that is funny! Anyway, added a little cardio just to keep my weight stable felt great! This week my goal is to get all my workouts in and more importantly get all my meals in!

Well, the show was fun and I won my class and overall. Got awarded my pro card!

ONly four days until the comp. Feeling really excited, I hope I come in lean enough! My dryout workout sucked, took almost 3 hours and I am carb depleting and sodium loading so I feel pretty fatigued! Anyway must rest, tomorrow I start my carb load bright and early!

Going into 9 week out training. focus is on loosing 3 pounds and intense cardio. Want to be at 129 by Friday, then126 next week. 118 here I come.
