The mind/muscle connection

Went to the gym today intending to work quads, hams, and calves.  After quads, I changfed my mind and decided to hit chest because #1) it just felt like I needed it, and #2) I will be on the road again next week, and wanted to make sure I hit it hard with the right equipment.

For the first time in a long time, I actually had a strong mind/muscle connection with my chest, and it felt awesome!  I have been using the Smith Machine a lot because I train alone, but I decided to use a regular bench for incline presses, and incline flys, and it made a world of difference.   I will be doing a lot more of that!

ugghh Incline Bench is My Worst! I hate doing them without a spotter but I lift on my lunch so I have no other choice. I use the Smith for my squats and reverse lunges. I have the paranoia of back injury besides I feel stronger when I lift heavier and the smith allows me to do just that.
wish me luck today is chest/back day for me.
    Have a great Week!
