<p>so on top of my day yesterday i did not sleep at all last night and i had a giant migraine when i tried to move around this morning. i think its b/c of the lack of intense cardio&#8230;probably just cardio in general. my schedule has been super weird since saturday, so things have gotten out of wack. </p>
<p>i got on track as far as food though even though i figured itd be better to wait and try to workout until later. i just woke up from a 3 hour nap and although i feel A LOT better im going to use today as my rest day and workout on saturday. </p>
<p>ill probably do something light like take my new dog on a walk, but nothing more than that since my head still feels like it cracked down the middle (only a crack&#8230;not the grand canyon tha tit was before).

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>i am so proud of myself. after we got our new puppy (shes a 4 yr old boxer named dottie!!), my dad just wanted to get pizza. i was ready to grill chicken and had the brown rice all measured up&#8230;only thing i needed to do was make a salad, but my sisters were all for the pizza. i said i wasnt going to eat any but still planned on doing so&#8230;when it comes to pizza i just cave&#8230;i used to work at a pizza restaurant!! but i didnt cave!!!! i decided about 15 minutes before my dad got back that if i started making the chicken before the pizza got home it would be done in time to eat with my family. so i had a nice piece of chicken over a bed of romaine and spinach with tomoatoes and light dressing. it was rather filling&#8230;especially after the protein shake i had earlier from getting back from the gym. i did eat some of the raspberry peach cobbler i made for my sis b/c i had to peel the skin off of 12 peaches&#8230;i dont even like raspberries in cobblers but i peeled 12 peaches&#8230;i was so going to eat some of that. it was a labor of love for someone i do not love. </p>
<p>anyways. today was good as far as training too. HIIT was better but i posted in the forums and got some awesome advice and cant wait till the morning to have my butt whipped on the treadmill. this morning wasnt a complete loss b/c something is better than nothing. this afternoon was legs and it was awesome. i felt really strong but still challenged and during my squats, loryn stopped telling me about her classes and said &quot;omg your legs are really looking awesome!&quot;. ive noticed the last couple of days the definition is really noticeable, but i was thinking it was jsut me, so when she said that i was so happy! im still looking to improve but i can really see everything coming together now. its just really really cool!</p>
<p>so today&#8230;for a rating&#8230;i would have to say&#8230;despite the HIIT i was doing not really being HIIT, and the raspberry peach cobbler&#8230;i give it an 8.5 out of 10 (i was suppose to clean my room more humanities homework&#8230;key word here&#8230;suppose).

<p>I was definetly still full this morning from the dinner i had last night at the beach. it was so good! i forced myself to eat some yogurt and i was really proud of myself for not eating donuts at church today. i dont like donuts&#8230;at all but they are there and i get bored and so i eat about one. they have them cut up into pieces so its eaiser to eat more. i dont like donuts&#8230;i hate donuts but whenever im at that church i could eat a million&#8230;blah. my mid morning snack was a triple threat power bar. i think im going to take something like that from now because its sweet and filling. my sisters wanted to go to steak n shake after work, but i refused to go. i dont have the money and theres no way i was going to screw up my eating. i had some chicken and salad instead!! </p>
<p>i did HIIT today. ive read about people doing that and so i finally looked up what it was and decided to do it. i have to say though i think i couldve done more&#8230;maybe i needed to increase the speed, but i was runnning at 7.5 and walking at 3.5. those seemed like safe numbers to try for the first time. i came home and cleaned up the old weight bench and did some bench press&#8217;s and bicep curls&#8230;i was going to do hammer curls, but the way our weights work&#8230;theyd fall off if i held it like that. i didnt some other arm thing&#8230;i cant remember. i jump roped for a few minutes but my hair kept falling out of the pony tail and i couldnt find my hat anywhere. i am cutting my hair at the end of july and donating to locks of love. i think its nice and all but i dont even like brushing my hair so trying to keep up with it is SO annoying, plus i just dont think its me. i like shorter hair. </p>
<p>anyways so yeah sundays are light days.

i was nervouse about measuring myself before i hit the beach because if i felt i hadnt done well then i dont think my day would have been as fun. but ive been workin&nbsp; hard and glad to see the pay off!

My food was right on target and so was my training. i did spinning this morning and legs this evening. i think tomorrow will be interesting as far as trying to walk. lol. the one thing that i like about today is how good i felt. i am really seeing the changes already and am very pleased. my skin is glowing from eating healthy and my love handles have diminished pretty drastically. when i flex, i can see the shape of what i use to be. thats awesome&#8230;i dont think itll be too long till i get there and then surpass that.<br />
i think one of the rewarding things about this is that my parents are being very supportive. i think the finally see how much i like this and am interested in it. another cool thing is that by eating healthy and being active they are living healthier too. this afternoon i had a hard time try to come up with how i was going to get my protein because my family has been eating my cottage cheese. we also buy a dozen and a half eggs now when we go to the store b/c my little sister has been eating them more frequently. my mom has been buying less chips&#8230;even the Sun chips. bananas and strawberries are a main fruit staple in the fridge and hopefully if blueberries stay on sale those will be too. my dad even mentioned something about how much he could bench press yesterday! we have an old weight bench in the garage, so i might surprise him and clean it up. the only person who i dont think its affecting is my older sister. i think there are deeper problems though. she eats very little, but when she does eat its not necessarily healthy. she use to be way overweight and then she did an internship at disneyworld where she lost a ton of weight. this past semester she gained maybe 5 or 10 back, but she has had a rough schedule. i dunno&#8230;we dont mess w/each other b/c we dont see eye to eye on many things.<br />
anyways. todays was a good day and i got a lot accomplished.<br />
tomorrow i am going to the beach w/my little sister and her friend&#8230;.i need it&#8230;i have some crazy tan lines from going fishing!

<p>today eating was good except i had some cookies&#8230;but it was the 4th&#8230;i cant not eat some 1 out of 100 different kinds of desserts shoved under my nose. they were small and had fruit on them.</p>
<p>tomorrow its back to regular. i cant wait to do spinning again! it really slims down my legs and i really want that especially because ive been training and i know theyre a lot stronger. </p>

<p>today was good. i ran this morning which was just really nice. i have a question for people though. ive gotten into the habit of getting up at 7, eating 2 scrambled egg whites with toast, and then an hour and a half later go running. i do this cause if i go running right after i wake up i will fall off the treadmill and i wont be as focused. so i start of the morning with a healthy mini breakfast and wakeup. should i just drag my ass to the gym right away and run, or is it ok to eat and then run later. i am trying ot lose body fat but how bad will eatting two egg whites and toast effect my burning fat? i walk for a good twenty minutes, then run about 40 after that, so i mean i must be burning a good number of calories and some fat. </p>
<p>training was back, biceps, and abs. it was good. im feeling really good about my training like i said before, but i think b/c i want my legs to look how they use to look, im watching them too much. my arms and back look so much better than when i first started training. it was like i had twig arms. loryn told me twice today that shes really impressed with my progress as far as arms go. now if i could just get that quick progress with my legs&#8230;i know! it will come in time&#8230;but you have to remember im 5&#8242; 10&#8242;&#8217;&#8230;legs are pretty much all i am!</p>
<p>food was good. i had some peanutt butter and crackers after i got home from the gym so i would&nbsp; have something in my stomach. anyways i think unless i put peanut butter in my smoothies i cant eat it, especially with white bread, cause i only had 4 saltine crackers with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and it felt like a rock sitting in my stomach. oh well. if people would stop eating my cottage cheese then maybe i could get a good quick protein fix!</p>
<p>but back to my morning cardio/breakfast question&#8230;i would love input!!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>i thought saturday was crazy&#8230;oh boy. sunday my friend was at my house basically all afternoon&#8230;i was able to go and run for an hour however, but well&#8230;lets jsut say she left the house at 5 this afternoon. she decided to call her boyfriend and talk to him at 10 last night. it was crazy. i couldnt let her deal with it on her own so i was up till 3 this morning. needless to say im exhausted and ready to crash. i did walk for 40ish minutes before training today. i did cardio before b/c i was suppose to have a date after training&#8230;however his roomate kind of invited himself along. its been a messed up weekend. anyway i dd hill interval at varying speeds, and then for weights we did hams (which i really want to work more on), quads (which i want to show by eating better and keeping up w/cardio), and supersetted with shoulder stuff. my legs are really strong the problem is that b/c i havent been as careful as i should w/my diet im not losing the fat around my belly and thighs like i should. i am seeing slow changes. ok im being too hard on myself. its only day 7 i cant see changes this soon, but im also really made at myself for not sticking to the right foods. ive portioned controled which im proud of, but as much as i portion the bad food its still bad. im going to post what i eat just to have it in several places and to get input.</p>
<p>so i have to remember 5 things&#8230;(1) CARDIO, (2) CARDIO, (3) CARDIO, (4) what i eat today effects me tomorrow, and (5) CARDIO!!!!!
