Wii sports active

So i got myself a wii.

And as i have been having trouble getting time in the gym, i decided to try out and see what a wii can bring to the fitness market.

Got myself wiifit board, and EA sports active. Now ea sports active, includes a rubber resistance band, game and a leg strap for holding a nunchuck.
It is a personal trainer in a box so to speak. It lays out your workouts for you. It also comes with a 30 day fitness challenge.

So i have decided to only try out that part for the next 30 days.

I’m currently on day 3, which is a rest day.

The first two days were fun, around 20mins of exercise each day. But they did manage to work up a good sweat.

Pros :

Easy, at home, no thinking just follow instructions
The running part at home, is actually great for my shins, who normally hurt after running. And i think my soles are getting more flexible.
Good at keeping you on track

Cons :

only thing i can see, is that it doesn’t have enough resistance on the rubber band, to build huge muscles. But it’s good for toning.

so all i can say for now, try it…  it is fun and great way to do it.
