SO I am just now really starting to make great strides in my diet and my transformation. i am turning fat into muscle and looking better than i ever have. even better than my college days. wouldn’t ya fricken know it, the gym i work out in just closed at the end of Nov. Corp cutbacks and what not. Now I am on my endless search for a new gym. all i need is a square box with some iron. mix in a treadmill and i am set. then i shall continue my training and the endless pursuit of catching the bunny. soon bunny i will be back on track coming for you. until now i will do pushups and body squats until i puke. thanks, god bless and happy holidays to all.

Lil 80’s flashback for y’all. so just updated my progress pics for first time all year. It has been a slow journey so far but I am seeing some great results. had to tweak the diet and what not. the weekends have been killing me. i usually do not work out and seem to eat way too much. i still eat clean but eat way too many calories. so today i decided to get a good sweat in at home before tonights festivities. lots of pushups, dumbell squats, swiss ball work and show shadow boxing. if i can just keep my weekend cheats meals to a minimal gourging i should be able to get to my goals pretty quickly. my body adapts to change very well.
so i would like to be at 210lbs by August 10th. thats the big 35 bday for the kid and i have never looked or felt better. look even better than i did in my college playing days at BW’s. anyway i wanted to write a quick blog to log my progress
also i have a summer costume party coming up on August 9th. You have to dress up as your favorite rocker/ rapper/ country singer. I was thinking of rocking out an old school Billy Idol action. Rebel Yell you wankers!! Or do i dare bust out the Hammer pants? Too legit to quit hey hey!! Alright stop what your doing bc i am about to ruin the image and the style that your used too!
Peace and Humpitness forever.

I sure would love to update my site with some progress pics but I suck. I have be leaning out the last month and really eating clean. I would have to say that I have never looked better. Of course I cannot share this with everyone because 1) my camera phone just doesn’t cut it. always fuzzy. 2) my digital camera works great but I cannot get the correct lighting to really show of the work I have done. So now I pout. Anyone in the area want to help me out and take some progress pics for me? : )
Soon my friends. Soon there will be some updates…
On a side note, tomorrow starts my Old man Olympics as I call it. Well actually it is called Superstars but it is basically 8 teams of 9 people (there is a draft and everything…no sh*t) competing in several events over 5 days. Tomorrow is 3 on 3 basketball and 3pt contest. Thursday night is sand volleyball. Friday is swimming and bowling. Saturday is canoeing, tennis, track & field then golf (long day). Sunday we wrap it up with Softball and then a picnic. Its my favorite time of the year. Lots of fun and way too many shots after the events, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Wish me luck and all Hail the Bunny!!

You take the good you take the bad you take them both and there you have the facts of life. Not my best and not my worst but that is ok I felt pretty strong for the first 4 miles and struggled the last 2 but Hey its not everyday you can get up at 6am on a Sunday and run in the streets of downtown Cleveland with 10,000 other runners. Overall a great experience. Only regret is I couldn’t catch that fricken Bunny. She is a quick little bugger that Bunny. I will have to wait until next year to get my revenge on her!!
After this race I am pretty sure I am going to enter in more races throughout the summer here. it helps me stay on track and you feel great afterwards. A total sense of accomplishment. of course my glutes are nice and sore today but you will have that. I blame that on the Bunny. ok off to the hot tub now. ciao

Well my annual 10k race is this Sunday morning bright and early. I am ready to push myself to the limit once again. Something about seeing the finish line a couple hundred yards away and pushing urself to an all out sprint to close it out. I can just imagine what is on the minds of the people that I pass on that strait away. You know the types, Yes passing that old smelly guy with the pink shorts, a couple 8yr olds kids that I have no idea how they even got into the race and of course the cute blonde running in front of me that has been keeping my pace for me. I shall call her Bunny. I shall catch you this year Bunny and I shall pass you Bunny!!. I shall not fear the Bunny!! Now if I just had enough nerve to ask her back to my Hot Tub for post race refreshments. hmm….Love the Bunny.
I will post my time after the race. Wish me Luck. GO CAVS

I sure wish I had a hot tub right now. I ran 4 miles earlier and my legs are like jelly. Felt good to get those miles in and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. That aside I sure wish I was sitting in a hot tub drinking Corona Lights instead of working. There will be time for that this weekend!!! I have more work to get done before I can reward myself with those. : )

haven’t posted in a while so quick lowdown on whats shakin. I have been training for a 10k that i am running next month so i haven’t been lifting allot lately. Lots of push ups, dips and pullups, nothing crazy. running is such mental challenge for me but oddly enough i really enjoy it. this is the one race i run every year and 6.2 miles and 50-55 mins of non stop running can really challenge somebody that doesn’t run many races. but what can i say i love it. my goal is to break 50mins but that is running a sub 8 min mile for 6 miles and that is no easy task. especially the toll the race takes on my 215lb frame. but i look forward to the challenge. i will post my time after the race. peace

Well it appears I have gained a few pounds the last month but my clothes are still fitting the same. my jeans are still loose but i am a bit thicker. my diet is still pretty clean with the exceptional cheat days on the weekends. just goes to show if you you eat right and work out you will gain muscle. i am not so comfortable with my new bulk but that is ok i started running again and i dont think that bulk will be there much longer. i want to stay lean and mean. I dont want to look like i can flip over cars. but in do time. so i consider this last 2 months my bulking stage ha. time to cut it up. heading to fort lauderdale for a week soon and need to look good on the beach right? ha. i know i am my worst critic and i am extremely hard on myself but that is what pushes me. i know i am not fat i just want to get shredded for the summer months just need to work a little harder. no worries mates. i am all over it. ta ta for now until we meet again…

it been a little while since i posted anything so i wanted to drop a quick line and give a quick update. i have started my training for a 10k (6.2mi) race that on May 18th, so i am trying to drop some weight to be lighter putting my body through 55mins of pain. i have been doing my HIIT workouts only once or twice a week. small case of the winter blues and hard finding motivation but i feel i have turned that corner and it is on now. i have put on a few pounds after i lost like 6 whne i first started but i think it was only bc i am eating better and eating allot more. my jeans still fit the same i am just a little thicker. i mostly do bodyweight excercises to keep my bulk and now i am starting to run more often to get my lungs back. 6.2 miles takes a toll on a 220lb ex linbacker in college so i would like to ramp everything up and drop drop before the race. i dont think that will be a problem just need to stick to the plan. today i did three sets of dips and lat pulldowns of 15 reps each then jumped on treadmill and walked 5 mins then jogged 20mins then walked 5 mins. felt good to run again. and that is all i have to say about that…….until next time

2008 is off and running and I am starting to get back to where I was before the holidays. Amazing what the flu and bad diet does to all your hard work. 2008 is a big year for me, not only with my career, but also with my fitness goals. I will get down to 205 and cut my bodyfat before I run a 10K in May. Had a very encouraging HIIT workout today. Not exactly a "300" workout but I did manage to do 340 reps. I used 3 exercises today. Squat, Pushup, Bent over Row. Starting with 30 Squats (80lbs), 30 Pushups, 30 Bent Over Rows (80lbs), then dropped my reps each set until I completed a total of 110 Squats, 110 Pushups, 120 Bent Over Rows. Mixed in a few pullups in between and completed that cycle in just about 20mins. Great Sweat. Great feeling of going an extra set bc I was feeling good. Fricken jacked. All in all very happy with myself. Thanks and God Bless
