Staying Motivated

I came back from my trip and felt ok considering I did not eat very clean while away. I didn’t gain any pounds so that is a good thing.  I am getting  a little discouraged because the scale is barely moving, but I am going to keep going. I think I really need to start doing two a day cardio sessions to see how that will affect the scale.  I know that there are many different schools of thought on wheather too much cardio will not help build muscle but I think with the significant amount of pounds that I need to lose it really doesn’t matter until I get my weight down some more.  I would love to hear what others think about that.

Keep Going

Well I made it past the weekend without putting on any pounds. Yeah!!!!!!! I am not going to lie and say I was 100% on point with my eating but it was a very big improvement from my old ways. This is a journey to better health and body and I have to keep reminding myself it is not going to happen overnight.  I am happy the scale stayed the same. I missed my morning workout but I am going to hit the gym tonight after my daughters soccer practice.

My goal this week unfortunately is not to gain. I am heading out of town with my oldest daughter, taking her away to college. I cant believe my baby is leaving. I just pray that some of the good stuff she has learned in her 17.5 years will lead her to make good decisions when faced with some bad situations. Anyway, I will be away from home for four days the hotel has a gym so my goal is to work out every day while I am there and I’m sure to get some cardio walking around the campus. I am worried about my eating. I need to stay motivated big time.

I have been on schedule for the last three days. Its Wed. and the weekend is coming and that is when I have the hardest time with my eating. Luckily I don’t have any big plans this weekend so I am hoping to be strong and eat clean.

Ok today is my first day on my journey to health and looking Hottttt!!! I started today off with a morning workout and my eating has been good so far. Whoo Hooo!!! I must say that I love visiting this site for all the pics and comments that people make to motivate each other. My goal is to eat clean all week and work out 6 days this week. Originally I had a goal to lose all my weight by my B-day but I have waited too long to get it done. So if I can lose half of the weight by my B-day and the remainder by the end of the year I will be too happy. I am contemplating posting some pictures because I know they will help keep me motivated but I am too embarassed by them trying to work up enough nerve to do it.
