So here’s the deal..

I’m all moved, albeit to a probably temporary living situation.  I don’t think I’ll be here more than 6 months or so, just long enough to get my bearings, finish training for work and find out where I will be permanently affixed.

I moved here because in CS all I did was work.  It was a crap year.. I lost both Grandfathers and my beloved Brody.  (Yes, he was a dog - but to me he was my kid.)  In November, I tried to ‘work through the pain’ with a shoulder impingement, probably doing enough damage to warrant surgery, although I am trying to avoid it.

I moved there for work last August, and when Brody started to get sick in April, I realized that all I had there was a job.  I knew I could get another one of those.  I had lost 15+lbs of muscle, and while I wasn’t fat or anything, I was far from where I was last April (When I set the 2 GWR’s) or May (When my main photo was taken).

Right now I’m completely torn between getting my abs back or putting on as much muscle as possible.  The next Lift-A-Thon is in 14 weeks (from yesterday), and thanks to muscle memory, I know it won’t be too much of a challenge, but I really want the taper, and I won’t get that until I cut.

Since I hate cardio, I am (for right now) on the muscle building plan.  I really need to work on my shoulders, but because of the impingement, I am afraid to push it to the limit.  I’ll get an MRI in the next couple of months, and will know if I have to go under the knife or not.  I’m hoping htat another couple of shots will do the trick (I’ve had 2 already).

So, not that anyone reads this, but that’s the plan…

sounds like a good plan! Sorry to hear about your puppy…I know how much that hurts and it’s not silly. :)
