Am I the weird one? No i’m not.

Why those society always put an emphasis on looks and beauty, but when they see someone that has it, they immediately assume the worst. Ever since i made the commitment to go lean and strong at the same time, i have had mixed comments from many people.

I have gotten many compliments from older gentlemen who seem to appreciate it, and even from some people my own age. But it seems that often times its the people closest to you that try to put you down. You know who im talking about. Those dream stealers.

The people that want the results you have without putting the effort. And because they dont have it and find it difficult to attain, they awesome others that do are cheating.

Before i started hitting the gym hard i was in ok shape. but i decided to take it to the next level. and with lots of research i started to understand how i was able to attain it. So i put forth the effort to change.

Weight training changed. Cardio changed. And Nutrition changed.

I like looking in the mirror and seeing a strong lean figure. And no i will not ingest anything that will have NEGATIVE effect on my body. Be it testosterone boosters, alcohol, and yes even junk food.

I hate that question, " Kizzy, don’t you like junk food. just live a little." Yes i like junk food who doesn’t, but i like being lean a whole lot more. And the healthier i ate the longer i will live.

So society can stay fat overweight and obese if they want, but don’t tell me i’m i weird because i eat spinach instead of chips, or go to the gym instead of the bar, or my favorite one, wear a medium shirt instead of an extra large.

Oh, the story of my life. You’ve just summed it up. My boss makes those comments when I don’t participate in our monthly "food day". That’s a day where she shows her appreciation for her employees, mostly overweight, by ordering pizza, chips, pop, and so on. She got mad at me last week when I said, "Why can’t we have exercise day?" Keep up the good work and posts bro.

No, you`re absolutely not weird :) I receive these "eat your hamburger" comments all the time, but I just dont bother myself with them. Btw you`re in really good shape, don`t ever stop! :)

And this post is why I am here. To be with people who understand the hidden rivalry that those on the outside put upon us. I see it this way. Basically we are animals with a pecking order. When one moves to the top, the natural order is for those beneath to attempt to tear it down.

Hey love this post - it is amazing how people try and pull you down to their level. I have been pulled, pushed down and given in to those very close to me and have been trying to work out what to do. You guys rock, I am going to crawl back up to where I was and keep living the healthy livestyle that I love.
    Thanks heaps - great post.
