My last 8 months of training have been crap, as you can see from my last post I injured my shoulder back in Dec 08. Just a couple of weeks after my last post (April) I was hit by a car on my way home which caused my shoulder to dislocate. That put me away from the gym for 2 months, but has taken a further 2 months to get strong enough that I can now do most exercises, although a few still cause abit of discomfort. But just coming back from a month away in Europe my shoulder feels strong again! So i’m amped to get back into my 2008 training mode of eating heaps and training like an animal! I dropped 10kg since peaking at 80kg back in Dec 08, so my first goal is to regain that weight by May 2009. Bring it on!

To update my progress I thought it was a good idea to write about my injury. I injured my shoulder in late December 08, damaged my ac through doing pressups but starting from a standing position! Stupid I now know. Its been 3 months now and its only just starting to come right. Have had physio on it but that hadnt seemed to make a difference, time is the only factor that will heal it i think. I have gone down in weight by roughly 2 kg, not much but it wasn’t my plan to lose weight! Regardless I had slacked off abit but now am amping it back up to pre-injury workouts. Have worked myself a new program of monday-wednesday-friday workouts with the goal in mind of recovering my lost 2kg and getting my strenght back up. Once I feel my shoulder is back to 100% I’m thinking i will jump on a rotation of creatine to give me that extra boost. Lets see how it goes!

Well despite how bad it tasted last time im back on it again. Last time I was taking 3 scoops a day 30mins before training which I think was 15g of creatine and I believe that was what made it taste so bad (was taking it all in 750 ml bottle). This time around im loading (which i didn’t do last time) with 20g a day over 2 sittings over 5 days and then cutting back to 10g when maintaining. I’ve been told this is quite alot so i’ll see how well I go. Bloating is medium to high depending on how im generally feeling. I hope to finish my kg of creatine with a bodyweight of about 80kg while popping my chest out and widening my shoulders. I put on 3kg last time and managed to hold it even know i didn’t take it 100% correctly, so im expecting at least the same. I’m taking Effervesant Creatine and after this round I think i’ll give monohydrate a go. But for now we will see….

Started on Balance Effervescent Creatine in my second week of training and put on 4 kg over 3 weeks including 1.8kg in my last week. I was taking the orange flavour and it tasted like femented goats piss and was a mission to down on my short walk to the gym but looking back now it was worth the $45.00 for 4kg of gain. Since finishing on creatine my weight gains have decreased dramatically which has ****ed me off to be honest but i’m soon to try Muslcetech Muscle Stack to bulk up over 15 days.
