It's something that I wrote a couple of days ago to remind myself of my goals. I guess I should copyright it, huh?

Not bad. copyrighted?

I wonder what the percentage of the U.S. population actually works out. it may be pretty low like 5-10 %. That can be thrown in the creed.

just a thought.

Kymn, II don't recall whether I ate prior to that work out. I try to eat about an hour before I head to the gym, but that isn't always the case.

Thanks for the advice, auzb. I'll keep that in mind!

Best advise on squats is to exhale on the way up, rather than trying to hold your breath. The deeper you go on squats the harder they get...the reason why some people shy away from them

Did you have a good meal about an hour before your work out? Sometimes when I don't eat well before a work out and give it enough time to digest a bit for fuel I get that way too.

Dont feel bad about leaving a pic here. I did it!! I was so nervous about it but once I did I realized that it was just one more, no, my biggest motivation to lose weight!! Lost 10 lbs on my first week, hit a plateau the last 3 days but I am just maintaining my diet knowing it will break. Logging on every day and seeing my before pic is so motivating. I dont care if people look and say "dude, ugh". In fact I am counting on it because that is what I do when I see it and pizza and such just does not sound good now. Remember, you are here for the same reason most of us are, to get motivated. Enjoy the site, use it for all it offers. Put a pic on, we dont bite. I would love to watch you change with me!!

Hello Kiki, one thing I used to do to exercise at home is to exercise between commercials if I was watching tv. When the kids were here I'd get them to run around the block during commercials. The trick is to be doing something.Hope this tip helps. Good luck with your goals for 2008. Bruce
