Struggling with carbs (my food for life english muffin) and lots natty peanut butter. I hope this week away from the peanut butter subsides my cravings for it again. I just havent cared lately. I am trying, but if i eat a cookie or peanut butter im  just like, all well… I really need some $$ so i can sign up for this comp to get me motivated again. This week at the in laws im gonna re focus and take a breather. No macro counting, but plan to eat pretty clean.

My weight has been maintaining lately at 115ish. i have been dissapointed that i am getting extra protein in and my weight isnt going down anymore. I am sure it isnt the proteins fault, but the extra carbs i am ALSO getting to.
I am trying to get his right. life has been tough lately, plus i have "started" my monthly "duties" and thats no fun to. Certainly not an excuse for the m&m’s i ate today.
today i def didnt get enough protein in and a few sweets. i don t even want to write it but i will:

coffee, light soy, splenda
food for life english muffin
egg beaters

1/2 english muffin
plus another carton egg beaters

1 reg pack peanut m&m’s

another half english muffin
with natty peanut butter

several "bites" oatmeal cookies..

not good today at all.
feeling yucky and will start fresh in the morning. Heres tommorrows plan:

coffee
light soy
spenda
egg beaters
food for life english muffin

protein shake with whey, light soy and frozen strawberries

2 packs tuna

not sure yet after that.
we will be going out of town this week (on Wed thru saturdAY) I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE FOOD. I ALWAYS TEND to lose weight when we go to my inlaws, because they eat out alot and i always just order salads and bring my own food for when we are at home.
i am going to have to kill the gym earlier this week, as i wont have good access to weights down there, but will def get some outside running in : )

So far today:
coffee, light soy, splenda
food for life english muffin
one carton egg beaters
one giant can of chicken breast (250 calories, 45 grams protein!)
2 scoops whey protein
1 cup light soy milk/1/2 cup water
1 cup frozen strawberries
feel good about today so far. I am just trying to get in as much protein as possible before it gets to late in the day, becasue i start wanting carbs in the evening and then end up not getting in all the protein i wanted. So IF i want a carb 9a healthy one) then there will be room in the eveing for one if i choose. But i have decided to completely eliminate the peanut butter. I cant seem to control my self with it. yesterday i had WAY to much!!
workouts:
10am 1/2 cardio and back workout. will go back tonight for other half of cardio and some extra things such as pushups, abs etc

The problem i have been running into,is that i have been so focused on getting my protein in, and i have reached 1 gram per pound of body weight,  that my calories are a little higher than id like. NOT becasue of the protein but because of the carbs!! They are good carbs.. my delicious food for life english muffins, to be exact. i have been eating to many each day! Nt to mention one of those servings has some yummy natty peanut butter on it. I am trying to stop. I was having my protein shakes in the evening, but have decided to move them closer to ensure i get it in! So i have been maintaining, feeling alittle bloated lately. I know i would do best if i just ate the same exact thing at the same time daily.  Then I wouldnt tempt myself with that extra english muffin. So i am working on that!!!

MUCH better today!!!

Today was much better and I think i got the handle back on it.
I am going through a few things, just  stresses and such and I really need something to hang on to.. to have some sort of control over. I am trying to make "this" it, but even at times cant seem to get control in this area either. I wish i had the money to start getting ready for the comp, if i even get to do it.

Today:
3 mile run, tricep workout, will be back tonight for biceps, perhaps?

Food:
food for life english muffin
egg beaters
coffee, light soy

apple with one tsp natty peanut butter

2 can chicken breast on a salad

1/2 english muffin with egg beaters

plan on having shake tonight with protein soy and strawberries

macros today:

ended up having half an english muffin with peanut butter (not planned)

macros today:

16%fat
39%carbs
45% protein 133 grams

i have set up a plan and will try to eat the same thing daily. to many choices confuse me!! So heres the plan:

coffee, light soy, splenda
english muffin egg beaters

3-4 oz boars head turkey breast

2 cans chicken breast

1/2-1 english muffin
egg beaters

protein shake
one scoop whey
8 oz light soy
1 cup frozen strawberries

11% fat
33% carbs
56% 151 grams protein

this is what i am going to try to do consistently

ive been struggling a wee bit lately. I have been SO hungry today and am trying to stay high protein, but still a l;ittle more carbs than id like. i am getting a little discouraged becasue i am trying to save money/raise money for the comp and havnt had any luck. I would like to get some sponsers? But have no clue how to go about it.  I guess that is effecting my eating becasue i figure all well…  Todays food:  coffeee, light soy, splenda food for life english muffin egg beaters  grab a chocloate wafer bar of my daughters in her bag on the way from the gym.. i was starving!! home: 3 oz boars head turkey breast  lunch: food for life english muffin with egg beaters  ate 2 cookies (peanut butter!!) : (

had planned on having shake this evening.but had a hectic evening and ended up eating half an english muffin w peanut butterand some more cookies! i ate today how i WAS eating,and need to get my chin upand refocs.todays macros were terrible:

gym:
3 mile run, shoulder workout, abs, pushups

macros:
fat:27%yikes!
carbs: 45%
proetin: 29% (only 89 grams)

im already game planning for tomorrow.

NEED TO WORK ON THOSE WEEKENDS… (DONT WE ALL)

Wow, i just realized i havent blogged through the weekend!! But it went ok. Incredibly better than past weekends, but not as good as i would have liked.
As an example:
Friday just to refresh:
coffee, light soy, splenda, egg beaters,food for life english muffin,about half a serving m&ms,6 oz turkey breast,  protein shake with light soy,2 scoops proteinand strawberries. also ate about 1/2 cup chile tha i made for family.
I did stay within macros (19%fat, 37%carbs, 44%protein (128 grams))
but ate some m and m’s and diet coke at the movies!! They are counted into those macros but they made me feel bloated and icky.

Saturday:
coffee, light soy, splenda, eggbeaters, food for life english muffin
ate bite of daughters low fat pancake,
1/2 food for life english muffin with one tablespoon natty peanut butter
6 oz turkey breast
protein shake with light soy, strawberries, 2 scoops protein powder
2 peices reg gum
bite of an apple
macros: 17% fat, 37% carbs, 46% protein (127 grams)
as you can see although i stayed with my macros, it was all over the place with nibbling

Sunday (this day wasnt good)
food for life englishmuffin, egg beaters, coffee, soyand splenda
ate about one cup grapes for snack (did not prepare properly) i think those grapes setme up for sugar cravings.
i had a bout a serving of white chocolate mini peanut butter cups (YUM)
i had planned on just eating protein the rest of the day to balance itout, but couldnt stomach itu! ate about 2 oz chicken breasts. but then ended up having an english mffin with natty peanut butter. and a diet pepsi!and took a few nibbles from some cookies!!

My weight is not 112 anymore its about 113-114. still low,but i think by eating so many english muffins andpeanut butter it is keeping me bloated. i will work on this.

Today:
coffee, light soy, splenda
food for life english muffin, egg beaters

snack: ate 1/2 english muffin with natty peanut butter

ate 2 cans chicken breast on salad

ate another english muffin with peanut butter (AUGHH!!)

protein shake with strawberries,soy and protein powder

macros today:
fat a little high (23%)
cARBS 35%
protein :42% 125 GRAMS

THINGS TO WORK ON
TRADE OUT EXTRA ENGLISH MUFFIN FOR AN APPLE AND LIMIT THE ENGLISH MUFFIN TO BREAKFAST ONLY. ALSO NO MORE CANDY EVEN IN LITTLE BITS!!!

Today i have had (and plan on having):

Coffee, light soy, splenda

food for life english muffin, egg beaters (one carton)

snack: 1/2 food for life english muffin with natty peanut butter

lunch: 4 oz turkey breast with raw veggies

snack: other half of english muffin with either egg beaters or the peanut butter depending on how hungry)

dinner: protein shake with 2 scoops protein, frozen strawberries and light soymilk

macros:
fat:17% carbs:36% protein 47% (125 grams..may be more if i do the egg beaters later)

workout today:
gym did extra leg stuff and 45 min cardio (15 tred, 15 stairs, 15 eliptical) may do 15 more min on tred tonight. when i go back ill prob do shoulders.

The weekend is over and i STILL lost weight! WHO HOO i survived!

I havent blogged in a few days. This weekend was crazy busy with birthday parties, halloween, candy and  just business. I was worried about it that i would get off track. I weighed in this morning at 111.9!!! Wow. I even ate a few peices of candy over the weekend. The difference between this and other weekends is that i usually eat WAY to much, but i ate just a small amount and DIDNT let iteffect the rest of my days eating. I moved on and ate enough proteins and stayed within my limits. The key for me has been the protein! I dont know if i just needed it, or if it just keeps me out of the processed carbs! I have been eating my body weights worth daily and my macros have been averaging through the weekend (except that Friday !!) at:

fats have between 18-21%

carbs have been between 35-43%

protein hasbeen between 42-46%

The protein shake really helpsout!!

So thats my update. Workouts are on track as well.

todays food:

cofffee with light soy and splenda, food for life english muffin,egg beaters

4 oz turkey breast

protein shake

food forlife english muffin with natty peanut butter

(also ate 4 hershy kisses)

protein shake

21% fat

35% carbs

44% proein (117 grams worth)

tis true.. not eating enough ,may cause binging..

Tis True… Not eating enough may turn into a binge

Never thought that was really true ..until last night. Another busy day running around. Was my daughters birthday. Started out well enough with the normal breakfast:
coffee,light soy, splenda
food for life english muffin
I did not work out today : (

also snacked on boars head deli meat as i ran around all day. I didnt get enough protein becasue i didnt plan my meals accordingly. And that is what lead to the downfall. We went trick or treating and i had skipped my shake ihad meant to drink prior. I ate a few peices on the way home ( this was wrong, i wanted t sit, and enjoy them instead of eating them quicklly.) and they were good.

But since i didnt eat that day and stayed up to late, and was all alone tonight (daughter fell asleep) i sleepily helped my self to more chocolate all the while not even enjoying it. i even scraped some frosting from the cake i did not eat.
I am mad at myself because i have worked so very hard all week, have been feeling wonderful and my weight had creeped BElowmy “range”/ i pray i havent blownit, but needed to come clean. I am glad i still have 6 monthes til comp, and hope this one night wont make a difference. This morning i feel Yuck and bloated and just want to eat clean again, so i am starting fresh, no need to dwellin it and rack up m0ore calories! So back to a clean day and hopefully it didnt do to much damage
