im not sure what has clicked… maybe the idea of going on a stage half naked! even if i dont end up competing, im going to train/eat as if i am..
Today started out well enough. I had my usual..
coffee, food for life english muffin with egg beaters
went to the gym and worked chest again and extra legs
tha evening did back and 30 min cardio
my daughters bday is tomorrow and we had a busy day shopping and getting things ready for the weekend.
I didnt eat a lot today, because we were running around. I also ate an apple before the my 2nd workout for energy and have been snacking on boars head chicken breast all day.my macros/ratios are good but actual grams of protein isnt high at all:

i was tempted today several times but didnt give in!!! I bought cupcakes for my daughters class at the gym and they had extras, but i declined to take them home and let them keep them.. i knew i would eat one if i got it home!! This weekend will be a challenge… birthday party #1 for daughter (cake involved).. Halloween candy will be in the house after daughter trick or treats… then another bday party#2.. Sunday with cupcakes involved. It will be a challenge, but i can do it!! I want to look good way more!! : )
also my weight was still the 112.8… i thought it was fluck yesterday so wanted to test it out again today. and was happy to see it again.. THAT is motivation to keep on!!!

Confession….
Yesterday was quite busy and although after the chicken and brocoil for lunch i didnt get a decent meal in afterward. So although i stayed with "calorie budget" my carbs were a little high and protein a little low. but thats ok, We moved furniture for a few hours, went shopping and then went to a halloween event for my daughter, who came home with a small bucket of candy. luckily for me most of it was "hard" candy, or gum, lollipops, not a lot of chocolate (Thank Heavens) BUT i did allow my self a few (5) mini chocolates. It happened for a few reasons:
1. rushing around, didnt eat my planned meals to keep me full and satisfied
2. began to compromise in my mind (well, i havent offically signed up for the competition yet… or… i have 6 moths until the comp a few peices of chocolate wont hurt…) so YES i allowed my self to compromise
3. It looked so freakin yummy (i am weak, what can i say
4. monthly issues dont help the situation!
But the good points of it:
1. I DECIDED to have a few peices and enjoyed them. i stopped the moment i felt satisfaction and didnt binge or feel guilty
2. they were awesome! (hey 5 days without sweets will make it all the better)
3. i have started fresh, got my fix, and am moving forward not dwelling on it (like i usually may)
today:
coffee, light soy. splenda
food for life english muffin, egg beaters
snack: can of chicken breast (if you look at previous blogs, you will see that Sunday snacks are usually fruit (grapes/apples) because i am at chuech and they are portable. but had protein today!
when i get home i plan on having chicken breast with brocoli
snack: protein shake with strawberriesprotein powder, light soy
dinner can chicken on a salad
macros will be good today, lots protein!!!
fat:12%
carbs:28%
protein:60%
whoohoo!

The HELP ME!! blog (figure competiton)
Hey, ya’ll… I wanted to ask for YOUR help!!!
As most of you know i have maintained a healthy body weight for about 10 years through daily exercise, clean eating, and occasional treats!! (mmm.. chocolate!)
I like new challenges and am always looking for ways to improve my self!
I have made a decision to enter a local figure competition.
WEBSITE: SNBF.COM
If you are clueless to what that is check out the site.
So anyhow, i have never entered one. (there’s one in a few in 6 months) I am clueless on costs, what to do, how to prepare. So needless to say, I’ll be doing lots research! I am open to suggestions for those who have done these things!
What help do i need from you? What i do know is that these things can cost over $1000.00!! I don’t have that kind of extra dough. I’m not one to beg but I’ll be starting a fund for my competition! Every little bit helps. If 200 friends gave me $5 x 200 friends equals $1000! If you are concerned of where the money is really going, I assure you that it is going towards this.. i will post a blog and post pics as well!!! If you are local business that would like to sponser me, i will see what i can do to make sure you get promoted!! PLEASE SPONSER ME!!
I really need to do this for me. I want to see my body transform and push it to new limits.. i want to see what my body can do! I know it will be very challenging. The diet is strict as heck! And the training..whew.. but i am pretty hard core and focused person, i know it will be worth it!! But no more yummy "cheats"– even through the holidays!! This will be tough.
So basically right now i am figuring costs: costumes, entry fee, training, nutrtion, etc.. I will be happy to breakdown all the costs for thoses that would like to sponser me (once i find out what they are)!! I have not signed up yet, but once I start getting some funds and make sure I can afford it, I def will, and will keep all posted.
Thank you in advance as i take my training to a new level!!
I will be posting more updates etc…soon in my blog area!
Thanks everyone!!!!
feel free to message me if you have any questions at all!
Kelly

Breakfast:
coffee, light soy, splenda
food for life english muffin/one carton egg beaters
Weekends are scary.. especially as the hoildays are approaching. There are some Halloween events we are attending today and then next weekend (trick or treating for my daughter, plus her birthday) aka:Plots freakin candy! which chocolate candy is a weakness of mine (reeses cups, chocolate covered nuts mmm…) evey year i helpmy self to some of her candy. I cant do that this year.
I have set my sites on a figure comp in about 6 months and am trying to get focused early. i haven’t even signed up yet ( i am trying to figure out costs etc.. will def need sponsers!!) so this weekend will be a test as i will be tempted. Dont say,"kelly, you can have some, dont deprive yourself".. but you have to understand… i have not been depriving my self! i have maintained my weight for 10 years by "not depriving myself" plus if i have alittle i will want more and more and more…
I am praying for self control and focus through the weekend, lots protein/planning..

I did good yesterday… had lots protein.. no sweets!!!!!!!! and no diet sodas!!!!! Infact i didnt buy any diet sodas this week, so were good to go.
the shake def helped. in the evening i did start to feel ancy, but ignored the urge to snack and just had a few peices turkey breast instead. Right now i am trying to add up all the costs involved in the contest so i make sure i am able to afford it. Ill be doing that today.
Meal plan today:
coffee, light soy, splenda
food forlife english muffin
one carton egg beater
snack:apple, turkey breast
lunch: chicken breast/brocoli
snack: protein shake
dinner:tuna on salad
may change when i eat these items (may have the shake for diiner, tuna for lunch for example)
I am really motivated right now. I am tired of looking "normal" and want to be sculpted and lean.
