I havent "blogged" since Friday! But to make a long story short it has been very busy!! Hubbys Birthday, work, family, etc, etc.
Food was OK. I didnt eat much over the weekend (meaning i didnt keep up with macros and such) which i really need to get back to on the weekend and not get so busy. Bad items: went to grocery store hungry and ended up comming home with some cookies!! So ate a few of those, and scraped some frosting off of daughters plate (what she didnt finish of course) from my hubbys birthday. Everything eles was decent, probally not enough protein as usual.
SO ANYWAYS, back to todaY:
coffee, light soy, splenda
food for life english muffin with egg beaters
Just got back formt he gym:
3 mile run, shoulder and leg workout
plan to go back tonight for more cardio and workout with hubby (whatever he wants to work… probally chest)
Hungry when got home, just fixed daughters soup (ate a spoon of it) and one of her crackers. OK OK , ill go fix my food so im not digging in hers!!!
1:15pm.. just finished a large salad with carrots and celery with two packs tuns and mustard!! FULL!!
was suppose to go back to gym with hubby… BUT he wanted to go see the movie "eagle Eye" HOW COULD I RESIST?
But i drank a diet soda and had appr. one serving of m & ms i ate them real slow and enjoyed them, but didnt eat anything eles to help balance out the day. My macros still were 40 c, 40 p, 20 fat! __________________

Yesterday continued:
Back to the gym
2 mile run plus 20 min on eliptical also a chest workout.
Dinner was suppose to be a lean protein source.
But i made my family a "breakfast dinner" and ate some hash browns. NOT cooked in oil. Fat free basically browned (without oil) on the stove. i ate a bout a serving while i cooked and was full by the time I was suppose to mkae my food!
All well
Macros yesterday:
18% fat
45% carbs (because of those potatos)
37% protein
today so far:
breakfast: coffee with light soy
english muffin with egg beaters
snack:
apple with 1 tablespoon natty peanut butter
ate a bout 3 oz of chicken breast (cooked in lemon juice)
ate one bite of cinnamon roll.
went back to the gym tonight just did cardio, abs 30 min run.
dinner: protein cereal with light soy
bites:
few bites chicken breast, one bite rice, one sip of milk shake, one "finger" of natty peanut butter
before "bites"
fat 21%
carb 37%
protein 41%

We are in a gas crisis down here and Ga. I have passed at least 10 gas stations and NO GAS!!! Yikes! anyone else dealing with this?
Anyways, back to business..
no sweets yesterday yea!!
TODAY:
breakfast: english muffin (food for life) with egg beaters
lunch: 2 small cans of chicken breast over a bed of lettuce with mustard and celery.
snack: apple with natty peanut butter (one tablespoon)
snack: one cup protein cereal and light soy
dinner: had planned on a nice protein packed meal, but end up just tasting off the meal i made for my family.
workouts so far:
just one mile (will do the other two tonight)
plus legs stuff, glutes, abs, pushups

I am so glad a new week has begun. Last week was a tough one. Over the weekend we were really busy. We had guests staying with us and were out and about alot. But my food choices were good, but i did have one sweet each day. So i followed the 80% good eating 20% not so clean rule through the weekend.
I worked out twice yesterday:
3 mile run plus 25 min on eleiptical
also worked legs and chest
abs, glutes and pushups
today:
3 mile run
shoulders, abs, pushups
food today:
coffee, light soy
english muffin (food for life)
egg beaters
lunch:
tuna ona bed of lettuce with mustard and celery
fat free ruffle chips
snack:
fuji apple
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
snack:
protein cereal (1 cup) with 4 oz light soy
dinner: one pack of tuna on a bed of lettuce with mustard and celery.
1-2 bites of hubbys honey comb cereal (if you haven’t noticed, after dinner he always eats a bowl of cereal or something sweet)
but other than that no sweets for me today!! : ) wish i didnt eat those chips, though, my macros wernt perfect today.
also went back to the gym, 20 min on eliptcal and tricep workout
I am happy to announce i am down to 1-3 diet sodas per day. i also only bought one 12 pack for the week. i was buying 3-4, 12 packs and guzzling at least 5 per day. I think the not having them last week has really helped. i know that all sounds crazy, but im just being honest.

ok, so yesterday (friday) i finally got my car back. Guess how much? $2000!! I am so upset and feel so ripped off. i dont even want to go into the details.
so needless to say, yesterday was very busy. (havent had my car in a week)
went to the gym and v\felt Overwhelmed. I wanted to get everything in. but i just did a 30 min run and 1-2 exercises for each muscle group.
i weighed in and was dissapointed with my weight. although i havent worked out all week, i was hoping the scale to be down since my eating was pretty decent. but it was 116. : ( i am hoping that is salt?)
i had a lot of grocery shopping/cleaning. We are having guests come in this weekend (sister and brother in law) and they are staying in our home.
so i felt very rushed today and nervous and mad which led up to my demise.
i didnt eat A lot of things to day. but WHAT i did eat was not good. not good at all.
Breakfast started out well.
same ol same ol. Food for life english muffin with egg beaters, coffee with light soy.
went out to eat with in laws (but didnt eat anything because they didnt have anything healthy there (mexican) but sipped on a diet soda.
got home and put grocerys away. made chocolate chip cookies for the guests, and while i was cooking them, i picked out a bunch of chocolate chips : (
then once they were made i ate about 3 of them. : (
later that evening, i had a couple bites of hubbys potato salad (very high in fat)
and THEN i had something that i look forward to at this time of year. pumpkin cheese cake with whip cream. heaven.
i ate about half a peice.
so nothing good all day. i did think that i should get in some protein to "balance it out" but i have been doing well all week and needed a day where i didnt "think" about macros. ive been so stressed trying to figure out this $2000 thing. we just got ahead on some bills and are basically back to scare one.
im not a complainer and generally a happy person. its just been a rough week.

Im telling you i get SO cranky if yi dont get in my workout (its been 6 freakin days)
the car people keep giving me the run around about when it will be done. So they said tonight (well see… im no longer holding my breath)
food for the day:
normal breakfast:
coffee
light soy/splenda
food for life english muffin
egg beaters
lunch:
1 cup protein plus cereal 4 oz light soy
( i ve been doing deep cleaning today and just wanted somethingquick)
i popped popcorn for the family (light popcorn.. like 1.5 grams fat per serving) and i ate about a serving.
looking at my macros i HAVE to eat just protein the rest of the day to balance this one out.
i just want to to get a GOOD workout in. I want my car back. I want to go to the grocery store.
3:00 bite of daughters english muffin with peanut butter. yummy. 7:30 ate 2 servings tuna on my salad mix. my macros today are: 16% fat 41% carbs 43% protein not bad today. i also ended up walking to the convient store and getting a diet pepsi, havent had one in a few days via car problems. i havent been bloated lately which is great. maybe this was the bbost i needed to top drinking so many.
OK nevermind. just ate a half and english muffin w natty peanut butter.
new macros: 21% fat
41% carbs
38% protein

Yesterday:
basically ate everything i planned (except the extra cereal) i made cinnamon rolls for the fam and knew id eat a bite. so i figured instead of eating the cereal and the treat (like yesterday) and getting extra calories, id just have one bite of hubbys roll. (hey, save calories where you can)
but i stayed up late last night and ended up hungry. so i ate half of a half of an english muffin with peanut butter (so i guess i would have been better off with the cereal!)
even with these "extras" my macros were not to bad:
(based on everything entered in fit day:)
21% fat
38% carbs
42% protein
todays plan:
8 am coffee with light soy and splenda
food for life english muffin
egg beaters one carton
11:00
tuna
lettuce, celery, carrot, mustard
2:00 1 cup protein cereal
4 oz light soy
5:00 tuna salad as above
7:00 tuna salad as above
ive decided to save that extra cup cereal if i crave something sweet in the evening,as this is when i need it.
if i follow the plan:
15% fat
38% carbs
47% protein
what ive really eaten today!
so far today ive stayed close but not exact:
8 am had normal breakfast
11 am 1 cup protein cereal/ 4 z light soy
1:00 tuna (salad)the normal one
3:30 chicken (salad) the one i normally have
4:45 should have reached for protein but ate 1/2 an english muffin with natty peanut butter (yea, it was good)
macros so far are exactly: 40 protein, 40 carbs, 20 fats.
so dinner will need to be pure protein to get my protein higher than the carbs.
ive been at home all day still. my car will be ready this evening. i am so cranky! i need a GOOD workout!! the food should be better to since i wont be stuck at home with nothing to do but eat!!
i ran out of diet sodas too ( i dont post these, embarrassed)
but it was good being forced to drink more water. but i am sure that is why i reached for the english muffin, whereas i would have reached for a diet soda to satisfy the craving.
ok.. ate for emotional reasons tonight! found out my car STILL isnt ready.i get quite cranky whe i dont workout!!
i was suppose to eat lots protein at dinner to balance out my macros, but it didnt happen like that. i was making pancakes for my family (fat free ones) and i ate one with sugar free syrup instead of the tuna.
so macros for the day were:
20% fat
43% carbs
37% protein
i wonder why carbs make you feel better when you are stressed? I am sure the protein would have satisfied if i had just gotten to it on time.
the plus: no sweets in the house. would have grabbed them if they were there and wouldnt have stopped so one pancake isnt to bad, i suppose.

Heres the rest if monday: i had a lot of nibbles today : ( 7am: breakfast already posted 9:00 ate few bites of daughters english muffin with natty peanut butter on it. 11:00 tuna salad (one pack tuna, lettuce, carrots, celery, mustard) 1:00 one cup protein cereal 4 oz light soy milk had a few Bites of things: bite of hubbys peach pie, went to fair around 3:30 . came back around 7:00pm ate another bowl of protein cereal with light soy i was full but then i made the rest of the sugar cookies and ate 3!! my car is still in the shop so i didnt go to the gym yesterday and hope to get it back today. i need to workout! i hope to do better today. i just need to make sure i plan my meals today and get enough protein. yesterday wasnt the best day, but its a new day, a new focus.
7:00 am today: coffee, light soy, splenda food for life english muffin with egg beaters
10:30 am tuna with lettuce, carrot, celery and mustard
12:30 1 cup protein cereal with 4oz light soy
2:30or 3 another tuna salad as stated above
5:00 plan on having another cup of protein plus with light soy
if hungry will have another tuna or chicken packet in a salad.
macros will be:
14% FAT
38% CARBS
47% PROTEIN

I feel like i am doing better (def getting more protein in) with the new plan. I need to work on the evenings, though. I know im doing better with the "bites" but really need to just stop.
Not sure about workouts today. My car is in the shop so i am stuck at home. i may do a few things here, but its def not the same.

this meal def fills me up- very satisfied.
