Awesome sweaty class last night!! 3 minute rounds - bag work for round one, shadow boxing for round two, cardio for round 3. Cardio was 10 burpees, 10 sit ups, 10 push ups, and 10 double unders or 20 high knee skips. Get as many sets of cardio in as possible in that 3 minutes. First time I almost made 3 full sets, second time I did get 3 sets in. Felt awesome!!! Went home nice and sweaty!!
Feeling really good about this progress. The scale was bugging me that it said 140 / 139 / 144…pick a number I'm not that fond of but really, after thinking about it alot, I'm feeling really good. My clothes are fitting ok, some of my jeans are too tight to wear but others are fine. My T-shirts are all feeling snug and my bras are all feeling ridiculously tight! lol And I've never been one to worry about what the scale says but 144lbs is where I started this journey almost 4 yrs ago so that's what makes it kinda depressing. BUT - my body fat % is the lowest it's ever been and couple that with tight clothes probably says I've gained alot of muscle!
And who DOESN'T want to gain beautiful muscles!!!
I'm happy where I am, both scale and body fat %!! I can't wait to see what's under it all when I start to lean down in a couple of weeks!!
I think the kickboxing and jiu-jitsu are going to be a game changer in my overall appearance which is just fine with me!!!
Yep...I agree, that's muscle! Game IS different now, and the scale really is a poor tool for comparing with the past.
