Humble
I am very glad & i thank the good Lord for my health everyday, & that i am able to be as physically fit as i am, & to be able to still go at it like i do….Today we celebrated my youngest daughters birthday, she will be 15 on the 22nd. Anyway my brother in law brought over his wifes uncle. He has some kind of disabilitating disease that makes your limbs become immobile & start to die off. He is in a moterized wheel chair & has both legs ampitated & is on oxygen, & he also may lose his left arm, i gather to say, hes gotta be in his late 50’s, early 60… well we dont have a wheel chair ramp, so i carried him in my home, holding him(bear hug) from behind, & put him on my couch. He was happy that he was able to sit on a comfortable couch for a while instead of bein in his scooter chair…Allthough i did not really get a chance to talk to him too much, it was nice to have him visit my home, he reminded me of my own father. Well when it came time for them to leave, i carried him out the same way, & when we got to the bottom of the steps & i put him back in his scooter chair, i seen him pause a moment & seen the thankfulness in his eyes, then he gazed at my waterfountain that i have next to my steps, as he said the trickling water was very soothing to hear, as it seemed his way from holding back any tears. I believe he enjoyed his stay as well, he also wanted to have pictures takin in our front yard. Life certainly can be unpredictable, & the good Lord can send someone to cross our path in life…to remind us to allways to be humble… life is full of valueable lessons, if we open up our hearts to see them…
