After taking a week to rest and just do cardio workouts I’ve started the same workout again. I’ve noted much more muscle tone, a bit more muscle mass and some good Body Fat percentage reduction but am still struggling to get rid of the last bit of fat around the mid section. My diet is impecable so I should start to see my love handles disappear.

Well, I completed the full 90 days of P90X and I have to say I love the way I feel. I’m still not at all satisfied with the way I look and will start the program again after taking a week off.
Every area of my physical well being is drastically improved and I would recommend this program to anyone who is serious about fitness. I am also still very open to any suggestions on ways that I can improve. I still want to lose some Body Fat %’s and am really not seeing them drop any further than the 12% that I’m at now. I cannot tweak my diet any further but just have to believe that there is something that I’m missing.

My strength and energy are at all time highs in spite of the fact that my flexibility still stinks. The yoga portion of this workout kicks my butt, but it is helping me with balance and muscle soreness. My body fat % continues to drop and I am still struggling to eat all that I am supposed to eat. Two more weeks and I’ll be through this first round of the X.

I love this workout. Tony Horton has a very effective way of keeping you motivated and I AM seeing and feeling good results. I’m certain that my age is curtailing some of the results I would have if I were much younger, but I’m definitely achieving my fitness goals with P90X.
Once again, this workout is not for the faint of heart and will kick your butt. I don’t care who you are. If you don’t won’t to discipline yourself and push yourself to the max, don’t try this routine!

As my diet and normal routines have adjusted to fit into this program my results continue to improve. I have been starting my workouts at 5:30 a.m. and it is energizing me for the rest of my day. I am totally impressed with the muscle confusion that my body goes through on a daily basis and excited about the balanced approach to working out.
This workout is not for the faint of heart. I’m sure that it would have helped considerable if I had been in better condition when I started this program but at 46 my options weren’t to vast. So to summarize thus far, if you have any quit in you don’t attempt P90X. If you do you will surely find a "good" reason to not do it. It will kick your butt and laugh at you.
I myself intend to Bring It!

There is little doubt that this program by BeachBody is going to produce results! After six weeks of intensive resistance and cardio training I am starting to realize that 90 days is only going to get me started to where I want to be. The rotation of workouts between upper, lower, back, legs, and core is doing its job. I still struggle horribly with the Yoga portions due to a lack of flexibility in my neck, and hips but have seen improvements even there.
Here is a a horrible admission- I could only do 2 to 3 chinups when I began this program and am up to 10 now. This thing keeps me so on the edge it is hard to tell just how much strength or endurance I am actually gaining. But I will post what I can tell has I note changes.

Well, after four weeks of waking my body up, I’m really starting to feel the difference more an more with each passing day. Everything about this workout, from the cardio, to yoga, to the resistence is a butt kicker. My heart rate stays high throughout most routines and my muscles are pushed hard.
What I like also is the diet and nutritional information that is provided to help balance the intakes of protein, fats and carbs. I’m starting to feel much better in my joints now that I’m taking their supplements and my over all confidence is starting to pick up. There is no doubt I will complete the 90 days but I’m already starting to think about the next round. God, why did I wait so long to do this.

Wow! The best thing I can say at this point is, DON’T LET YOUR BODY BE THE LAST THOUGHT ON YOUR MIND. This workout is a killer and is a great combination of cardio, resistance and variety. I’m starting to feel better physically and mentally and less like this is impossible. When I first began this workout I could only do 7 pushups and 2.5 chinups. I was able to ad a couple to each of these already. I’m not sure it’s because I getting stronger or just because I’m getting lighter. Frankly, I don’t care. I am feeling good about the whole thing. I think I’m getting addicted to this idea of fitness.

I just completed the first week of Beach Body’s in home work out P90X. It flat kicked my butt and sowed me just how much work I have ahead of me. My joints ache and my glutes are screaming but I’m in for the long hall. Thanks for your encouraging words fit4god and coleyspoint. I appreciate the thoughts.
