cheat day :-/
It all started at work on Saturday…I stayed up late Friday night and got to work late Saturday morning. Then, a customer who works at a bakery brought in doughnuts. Due to the lack of sleep and messed up leptin levels, I ate three.
Then Sunday, the guy I’m seeing (still not sure whether or not to call him my "boyfriend"…labels are just weird to me…) decided to have a chill night & watch the superbowl. It ended up being really nice: he brought over delicious sushi, Coldstone cake batter ice cream and red wine. I also made my famous spinach dip which isn’t too bad (with all the cream cheese and cheese, its definitely low carb!) and toasted some low carb wraps for it because I’m lame and only have low carb tortillas. I felt a little bad indulging like that but he’s definitely worth the extra calories.
The thing about the guy I’m seeing is that he’s a big guy(6′2′’ 240lb), works out as much as I do and needs all of the carbs and calories he can get. The only time he watches what he eats is when the food is going into his mouth… Yesterday I worked out for an hour and then did almost 90 minutes of cardio (stepmill, spinning bike, treadmill) so as I was cooking healthy french toast for us at 1am, he was telling me that I shouldn’t feel bad about eating that late because I worked out so hard that day… Unfortunately, I’ve done the whole "eat-whatever-I-want-because-workout-ha
rd" thing for too long and never saw results. I love that he loves me the way that I am..but I want to be the best!
Back to eating well!!!

I can vouch from experience that workouts, even hard workouts, cannot compensate for poor diet. So where did you get the idea that french toast is healthy, on a clean eating diet (which is LOWER carbs, higher protein)? Esp late at night.
Also, working out for an hr, then doing 90 min’s cardio is overtraining. You’ll plateau & your body will stop responding.
My 2-cents. Good luck.

Hmmm…Well you have the knowledge to do what you want. You look to have the genetic make-up as well. Intensity and motivation is the key to unlock that perfect body. Keep at it and it will come. Not really sure how you are training right now, but cut back on the long distance running. It will do nothing for your figure. I think you should do more high intensity training or circuit if you will. That will def. cut more fat off your body. I am a Marine and I have to train in a mixture ways for combat. Just give it a try and see what you think if you havent already. Also there is MuscleSpeed and its a great product that I highly recommend to everyone.
