Anniversary Weekend~2lb weight gain

Let me first start off by saying that i had a wonderful 1 yr anniversary! The hubby and I went down to Ouray, Colorado which was wonderful. There are a ton of hiking trails and 4 wheeling trails. Everywhere we looked there were waterfalls, it was AMAZING! That was our first visit and we are already to book another trip back.

So after 3 days of not being in my normal workout and eating routine….it showed this morning on the scale. I gained 2 lbs since Friday. But i’m totally ok with that! That just means I need to work extra hard to shed those couple of pounds. I had great food and drinks this weekend. From Beef Wellington, tuscan garlic chicken, pizza burger, chocolate chip martini, a bottle of white zin…lol :) I guess that 2lbs isn’t bad since it could’ve been a whole lot worse. I expected some type of weight gain so i’m really not bummed about it at all. After all we were celebrating :)

I am ready to get back into the gym though. I never thought I would be the type of person who would miss working out, but I am. (Which isn’t a bad thing) I guess when I’m seeing positive improvements it is a HUGE motivater!

Thanks to everyone who wished me a good anniversary as well :)

I am glad you had a wonderful anniversary. That weight will most likely come off just as easy as it came on when you get back on track. Half of it is probably just water. Good luck and congrats and i hope your next year is as good as this one was.

congrats on the 1yr. Glad you had fun and don’t sweat the small stuff. You will work off the 2lbs in no time, and it sounds like it was well worth it on a special occasion, besides you have to indulge in certain "evils" of life every now and then! keep up the good work.
