I am feeling good this week! I am over being sick! I am back on track now. I am sad that I missed a Yoga workout while I was sick, but I am happy that I at least tried to do it. Doing downward dog with a lot of congestion, coughing, and a runny nose is not fun.
My workouts since then have been good. Anyone that knows me knows that I am super anal about tracking everything. I spend a lot of time making sure I increase the weight with each workout. I write down EVERYTHING. I even have a section to write down how I feel during each workout (i.e. if I have a migraine or my period, if I gave 100% or if I slacked a little).
I am still doing legwork twice a week. My legs really need some improvement. My wall squats are getting better each time I workout. For some reason, I keep stopping myself after 3 minutes and 30 seconds though. I think it is mental. I am sure I could hold the wall squat much longer, but I think I am done at that point. I need to find someone to challenge me to wall squats. Maybe I can hold my perfect wall squat for about 4 or 5 minutes if I have someone to compete against! Some friendly competition works wonders for me!
My meals have been incredible lately. I have worked hard at increasing my calories (which is my biggest struggle). I have been following Ms. Fit’s advice in Iron Dolls. I am working hard to grow! For some reason the scale keeps going down. Yep, I pulled it back out so I could measure my body fat. My weight went up, but now it has gone back down. I guess I am still losing more fat. I took a progress picture of my bicep last night….I really hope my arms are growing, even if I am still losing fat elsewhere!
I am excited about Halloween on Friday. My daughter will be SuperGirl! I can’t wait to see her all dressed up! It is a tradition for us to have friends over for Halloween so I am looking forward to having a fun night. I have to make sure I stay away from the candy! I really like having Sunday’s as my cheat day for some reason so I will stick to my regularly scheduled meals on Friday, even while I have people over. Maybe I can get one of my friends to do wall squats with me…lol! Wow, has that become my idea of a party?!! Hmmm…I never would have thought of that a year ago! I love how my life has changed!
