Hey guys. So when I started hitting the Gym hard about a year ago I dropped my weight from 233 to 210. Then when I got on this site I was fluctuating between 205-215 while doing tons of heavy lifting and watching my stats explode. About three months ago I started working extra hours to save up for a trip to D.C., New York, Maine, Canada, And Cincinnati. In the process of my work and the loss of my workout buddy to a summer internship at a nuclear power plant in Georgia I began to slack off on my working out. Then I had my road trip, and when I came back I had to renovate and move into my new place which kept me from the gym about a week. Then I broke up with the person I had been with for three years, which kinda got me down and caused me to loose interest in the Gym. With all that said I have pretty much ate what I wanted which is less than I used too. Somehow though I managed to loose 13 pounds the last month and a half. I attribute everything to my gain of fat burning muscle. I gotta say building lots of muscle makes your fat just fall off when you quit working out. I am planning to loose 27 more pounds at the rate of 2 pounds per week. Which will put me at my goal weight of 170 in 3 months. So around Christmas I hope to start heavy lifting again to get myself to about 185 lean muscle.

I lost 12lbs in 17 days. I weighed in at 205 this morning. Now my goal is to maintain my weght while trying to build muscle at the same time. The diet is going ok. I think I can make it. I just need to stay motivated. I am going out to eat tonight with friends, but instead of going some place I like we are getting Indian food. I hate indian food, so I imagine I will eat less.

So two days left. I lost 2 more pounds, and am not having much difficulty working out. My muscles still feal tight, and the weight is falling off. I have 5 more pounds and two more days to go. I am glad this contest is ending because I can’t go at this pace for much longer. If I reach my goal I will have lost 15lbs in 15 days. Not realistic or healthy, but I am using my knowledge of nutrition and my access to other peoples experiences to help. The desire for food hasn’t been the problem, the desire to maintian muscle mass is. If I loose too much weight I will start burning up the good stuff.

It’s 6pm day 2 of my 15 day wager. I have not weighed today. I will be weighing tomorrow. If I had to guess I would say I weigh 212 today. That is taking into consideration the fact I had eaten prior to my previous weighing, and I will be on an empty stomache this time. I know my body, and I have an extraordinary ability to drop 10lbs in two weeks and keep it off. The problem is that now I want to retain muscle and not shut down my metabolism.
