Hey wait a minute…cardio isn’t that bad.

I am actually starting to like doing cardio.  I have been doing 15-25 (whatever I can fit in after lifting) minutes on the elliptical and it isn’t all that bad.

I hate running at this weight because it is hard on my knees and shins.  After I drop some fat perhaps that will change.

In any event, the tips I have been getting from other bodyspace members has been great and keeps me motivated.  Thanks guys!

How about walking? Do you have a Nautilus treadclimber in your gym? It is a bit different from a regular treadmill in that there are separate treads for each foot. The treads move up and down independent of each other which makes it challenging. It is a great cardio workout but also works your core/abs, too. You don’t run on it you walk. Give it a try if you like the elliptical you may enjoy the treadclimber, too.

Good morning … yep I’m a big fan of cardio ask.. my buddy Bill.. lol… actually you can become hooked ..the elliptical is a good choice .. i find it much more challenging to do then the tred especially if you like to run .n you have knee problems…. you can also get a whole body workout …You may want to try a machine called the tredclimber .. if you belong to a a gym.You burn doulble the calories .. in half the time n no need to run .. because your working 2x as hard … keep up the awesome work .n cardio in your workouts you won’t be disappointed. Have a great day .. stay strong .. train hard .. be well ! =)Gina

Thanks for the tips guys. I am new to the whole idea of doing cardio after training.

I do paddle (dragonboat - 20 person canoe) 3-5 miles three times a week during season which is from December to May. That is DEFINITELY a workout.

    Fitnessprincess,

My gym doesn’t have a treadclimber that I am aware of. However, I may be switching gyms and will have to give that a shot.

    Bella,

Thanks for the encouragement. I need to get some pics up to show the progress I have made thus far. I am surprised at what I have accomplished in two weeks with diet, Lipo6, and cardio.
