Need workout partner!

So, I’m working with a trainer right now, but really don’t want to keep spending money on training - I need to save up to go to graduate school.  I would really like to have a workout partner though.  I haven’t had one for a few years.

I go to LA Fitness - mostly the one on 3rd St and Greenway, but the one on 23rd Ave is very close to my work.  In the past, I’ve almost always had male training partners, but I think I might actually prefer a female so there isn’t such a discrepancy in strength.

I lift weights 4 days per week on my lunch break - I like to lift heavy, especially legs, but I do have some limitations because of my left shoulder.

If you’re interested, send me a message!

  1. MrMontana98 Says:

After 30 years I have found training partners are hard to come by. And a great training partner is rarer than discovering the Holy Grail. I have 3 great training partners in my training career, two ladies and one guy. From those experiences and watching others, being male or female doesn’t seem to make one bit of difference. Find someone who is training regularly and is dedicated to truly working out. Someone who is willing to push themselves and you, and at the same time knows when to stop, take a break and back off the intensity.
Finally, the best way to find a great training partner is to be one yourself.

    Hope this helps, Troy
